Chapter 24

New condo

*Elijah's POV*

It's Sunday today and I'm helping Lucas move to his own condo.

Yes, Lucas decided to have his own condominium.

"Why do you want to move Luc?" I said as I open the boxes.

"So you can move in with me love" he said laughing.

"What? I- " I said as I widen my eyes.

"Okay I'm just joking, I mean if you want to spend the night with me or something you can stay here" he said.

"Oh really?" I asked as I shook my head.

"Come on love stay with me" he said and hugs my back as he kisses my cheeks nonstop.

"Stop it Lucas, there's still a lot boxes in the car" I punched him lightly on the shoulder.

"Okay fine" he said as he helped me move his things.

"Oh I've been wanting to ask you babe, who's ring is that?" I asked

"Oh this it was my grandma's, she gave it to me before she died it was her wedding ring" he say holding the ring that was on his neck

"Really? It's very nice I bet you're grandma is very nice" I said

"Yes love she was" he smile

"It's alright babe I'll promise to her that I'll be a good boyfriend to you and will take her of you very much" I smile as he hugged me

"Thank you love, I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful boyfriend like you" he say as I peck a kiss in his forehead

"Yeah me too, now let's continue arranging your stuff babe" I smile

"Where can I put this?" he asked.

"Just there so it won't take a lot of space and also I'll hang your suits later in the closet so it won't worn out" I said to him.

"Yes, my love thanks" he said after putting the mini table.

He sigh, "Finally we're done"

"Yeah I bet you'll love it here" I said.

"I know, come here" he said after pulling me towards the bed.

"Lucas what are you doing" I said.

"You're so beautiful you know" he said as he fixing my hair and  putting it behind my ear.

"Stop it, you're digging your own grave" I said as I gave him a stern look.

"Oh baby don't say that, it doesn't suit you" he said leaning closer to my ear.

I cover my face hiding my tomato cheeks as I felt my heart racing.

"I love it when you blush love" he said as he got up.

"You jerk" I got up to pinch his nose as I walk towards the door.

"Ow love I'm sorry I was just kidding" he said laughing.

"Whatever" I shouted.

"Hey love what do you want for dinner?" he asked.

"You know what I like" and he nods.

He's in the kitchen cuz he insisted that he'll cook and he just wants me to relax. What a good boyfriend he is.

"Won't you spend the night here with me?" said Lucas while eating.

"No Lucas, I have work tomorrow and I didn't bring any clothes" I said

"Please love I'll be off the country tomorrow for a business trip" he said ssdly.

"You didn't tell me that, what time do you leave?" I asked.

"First thing in the morning" he said.

"Oh okay fine I'll stay for the night" I said as he burst in happiness.

"But I'll sleep on the couch" I said to him.

"No! you don't, you'll sleep with me on bed" he said looking serious.

"But" I said.

"No buts love it's settled already" he said smirking.

"You jerk" I mouthed at him.

"Your jerk love" he said smiling.

After we had dinner I decided to take a shower.

"Here use my clothes" Lucas handed me his big shirt.

I didn't bother to wear pants cuz his shirt actually reached above my knee, well this will do.

"It doesn't look good on me is it?" I asked Lucas as he spilled the water and cough.

"What I- um what did you say?" he asked looking away blushing.

"Are you alright Luc?" I asked worriedly.

"Yeah of course, sorry what did you say love?" he said quickly

"I said do I look good on these?" I said pointing his shirt on me.

"You look good on my shirt love it's kinda big for you" he said.

"Yeah well it's comfy" I said

We decided to go to bed after.

Lucas moved closer and I was now lying on his chest then we hugged each other as we sleep.

I'm already at work today and Lucas is now off to another country. He'll back after 2 days or so.

I'll admit it I missed my boyfriend already. But it's his work he got to go.

"Elijah" Luther called me.

"Yes?" I replied.

"I heard your boyfriend is in a business trip, when will he get back?" he asked.

"Maybe after 2 days" I replied

"Oh okay, anyways how's Rosie?" he asked.

"Well she's doing great at the cafe" I said as I checked my camera.

"That's good tell her I said Hi" he said as he flips some papers.

"Okay sure" I said as I get back to work.

I got out early today so I head back home.

It's already 8 in the evening and Lucas hasn't called since morning.

I sigh, "Maybe he's still busy"

I just head to bed and decided to sleep as I heard my phone rang, and I quickly answered knowing it's Lucas.

"Lucas?" I said over the phone.

"Love I'm sorry I didn't call you, I was busy and I just got off now" he explained

"I understand that I know you're busy and I just missed you" I said

"I missed you too so much my love" he said.

"Um you should get some sleep, I know you're tired you've been working so hard" I said to him.

"You too, goodnight my love I'll be back soon" he said.

"Goodnight, see you soon" I said as I hung up the phone.

I decided to go sleep and burry my face on the pillow as I yawn.
