New life same us
*Elijah's POV*
It's been a year already and many things have changed, like Rosie found a job and I got promoted to a new position in our company.
Well not to mention Jacob and Nikolai they finally confessed to us that they're together already.
It's seemed like it's only been yesterday that they said they'll be dating and now.
I can't believe they're together now.
I'm very happy for both of them and we all are.
Today is Nikolai's birthday so we're all gonna go out tonight and celebrate.
I'm happy to celebrate it with them but I hope he's here to enjoy this celebration too.
Well Lucas couldn't join us today cuz he's out of the country early this morning to attend a business trip.
He's been busy of his work lately but I understand it's tough being a CEO and I know he's tired but still he does his best to work hard.
I really admire that guy, I just can't get enough of him.
What did that man do that made me fall in love with him very much.
I sigh, "I wish he's here to enjoy this"
Anyways all of us gone to the mall already, to buy a gift for Nikolai.
I just bought a book for him cuz I know he loves reading too.
It's still 4 in the afternoon so I'm still at work today.
Lucas hasn't called me yet, I wonder how he's doing? He said he'll call me when he get there.
We've been together for a year now and I'm very thankful for that.
I'm thankful for him making me happy and special, I thank God for giving me such a wonderful man who's very loving, caring and understands me in at my hard times.
I couldn't ask for more, just him being in my life is my happiness already.
All I want is him the man who I left for 16 years.
Just seeing him laugh and smile makes me love him even more.
We really love each other and I hope we'll be like this forever.
"Oh I missed him already" I mumble
"Hey Elijah" Luther called
"Yes?" I reply
"There's a bad news the model couldn't come today so the photoshoot for the upcoming new poster will be postponed" he said
"Oh I- um I guess we'll reschedule it then I'll contact her so I can know when can we have the final schedule for the photoshoot" I replied
"Okay then I'll just tell everyone and tell me if you already made a new schedule for her" he said
"Okay Luther" I replied
"Oh by the way, let's just go together this evening on the way to the celebration" he smile
"O-okay then" I said as he waved his hand
