Treasure the moment
*Lucas's POV*
It's Sunday today and Mrs. Hail took us for a picnic at the lake.
The gangs are getting excited now.
"Babe you done packing the sandwiches?" Vincent asked me
"Yup all set also your favourite salad" I replied
"Perfect" he smile
"Kids I'm done packing we should go now" Mrs. Hail shouts from the kitchen
"Yeah almost" Rosie replies putting snacks in her bag
Wow that woman really is a big eater.
"We're done" Nikolai and Jacob said
"You ready Vincent?" I asked and he nod
"Now we're all set, let's go kid" Mrs. Hail exclaim
We climbed at the car and ready to head at the lake
Luther volunteers to drive cuz he wouldn't want Mrs. Hail getting tired.
Well he insisted in order to earn Mrs. Hail's trust for Rosie.
After half an hour of trip we finally arrive at the place.
"Wow it's very nice here" Vincent exclaim so was I
It's nice here indeed I've never been to this place before.
"So welcome kids this is the place we're we usually date with my husband before" she smile
"Oh I'm sorry" I said as we all stand in silence
"It's fine kids no need to feel sorry, I got all of you so I'm happy" she smile
"It's okay Auntie we're here for you" she said rubbing Mrs. Hail's back
"Okay now let's set the blanket first" she said as we all prepared the foods
"Who want's some pancakes?" Mrs. Hail says putting the pancakes down
"I want one" Rosie exclaim so as the others
"Hey let's a seat babe" Vincent said
"Okay what do you want to eat?" I asked
"Sandwich" he smile
"Okay here" I say as I open the box of sandwiches
"Let's play a game!" Rosie suddenly spoke
"What game?" Nikolai asked
"Spin the bottle game" she smile
"Okay kids just play in there while I make some juice" Mrs. Hail said
"Okay are you guys in?" Jacob said to us.
"Yeah sure" I said smiling at Vincent
"Here's the rule whoever get's pointed will have to answer the truth" Rosie explained
"That's sounds easy" Vincent said
"Okay let's start" she said as she spins the bottle and it pointed at her and we all laugh
"Okay okay so ask me a question" she said
"I'll ask" Nikolai said
"What do you eat besides food?" he smirk and Jacob hits his head lightly
"W-what question is that? you jerk! that's doesn't count" she said as she got up to catch Nikolai who's running and we all laugh at the scene
"Let's just go for another round!" she said while catching her breathe
"Okay next" she spins and it pointed to Jacob
"Okay Jacob here's the question, how many exe's you've got?" she asked as we all looked at Jacob widen his eyes
"Um none Nikolai is my first boyfriend" hes said as we all said in awe
"That is so cute" Rosie exclaim
"Moving on to the next" she said as she spins the bottle again and this time it pointed to Vincent.
"Okay Eli here's for you, have you had um you know with Lucas yet?" she said grinning
I widen my eyes hearing those words as I looked at Vincent who's cheeks are red as tomatoes.
"W-what I-no o-of course not" he stutter
"Oh are you sure?" she said in grimace
"Y-yes o-of course" he said looking away as I hold his hand and I smile
"Hmm well okay I believe you for now" she said doubtly
"Okay here's the last one" she said and spins the bottle
I looked at Luther who is pointed with the bottle.
"Okay this time I'll ask" Vincent said making Luther gulp
"Do have any plan to court Rosie?" he asked making Rosie widen her eyes
"I-um" he stutter
"Come on" I said
"Actually" he said while he took a glance at Rosie
"Actually what?" Mrs. Hail interrupted making Luther nervous
"Actually Rosie and I are dating" he said as he holds Rosie's hand
"You w-what?" I asked not believing any words he said
"Yes it's the truth" Rosie smile
"Wow my baby is a big girl now!" Mrs. Hail exclaim
"We're sorry for not telling you guys" Rosie said
"We're um not ready to tell you guys" Luther said
"But you did now, you couldv'e told us you know" Nikolai smile
"So you two are dating now, Luther my boy just remember don't hurt my little girl alright? She's the only baby I've got" she smile
"Yes of course Mrs. Hail, I promise you I'll make her happy and I won't let her cry ever" he said seriously
"Thank you Luther take care of her for me" Mrs. Hail says as she tap Luther's back
"It's nice you know" Vincent said looking down
"Then why do you look sad?" I asked lifting his chin to face me
"I'm just happy for everyone Lucas" he said holding my hand
"It's like the happiest moment that ever happened to all of us" I smile
"I think so too" he smiled back
"Okay kids let's drink the juice now" Mrs. Hail said handing each of us a cup
After we enjoyed playing games, eat snacks we all lie down facing the bright blue sky.
"I literally gonna miss this place" Rosie said
"Me too" Nikolai respond
"Did you enjoy Lucas?" he asked turning his face to me
"Yes I had too much fun here love" I said to him
"Thanks for staying by my side" he smile
"I'll stay by your side forever Vincent I promise you" I smile back
"Thank you for being such a wonderful boyfriend Lucas" he said
"Thank you too" I replied
"I love you very much babe" he whisper
"And I love you too more than you can imagine my love" I whisper back
We just lay down enjoying the bright sky, laughing together while staring at my beautiful boyfriend.
Oh I couldn't ask for more but this life, I'll treasure this special moment with Vincent and everyone.
