Long Day

*Lucas's POV*

I head early to the company cuz I don't want mom and dad asking me about yesterday. And it's stressing me.

I drank my coffee that I had taken out from the cafe, Vincent wasn't there though. Where could he be?.

Well I'll just focused on my work not to be stressed about that marriage thingy.

What were they thinking? For them to set me up on a business dinner and suddenly introduced me to someone saying I'm her fiancee?.

I stretched my back as I yawn.
Oh it's almost 12, I decided to call Vincent to invite him for lunch.

"Hey where are you?" I asked over the phone.

"I'm at the mall" he said.

"With whom?" I asked.

"My friends and Luther?" he replied.

"Wait, what? Luther?" I asked confusingly.

"Yeah long story though as soon as he know Rosie's with me he came here quickly" he said.

Well well he really is interested in Rosie that he rushed there, what happened to those two after helping me set up withe the surprise?.

"Well uhm I'm planning on inviting for lunch?" I said.

"I'm sorry I can't were on our way to the foodcourt now to have lunch" he replied.

"Won't you invite me then?" I said teasingly.

"I-um I don't know" he said.

"It's okay don't worry I won't rush things okay? Just tell me if you want okay?" I said.

"So enjoy, eat a lot and take care I gotta get back to work after" I said to him.

"O-okay, bye then" he said as he hung up the phone.

I just ordered lunch so I won't waste time I still got a lot of work to do.

I texted Luther to get a pic of Vincent, yeah so he'll keep me updated.

He didn't ask why I knew he was with them, and just said okay sir. I bet he's enjoying it, being with Rosie.

Ugh! I can't focus anymore, what could Vincent be doing right now?

I've checked my phone as I click the messages. I saw Luther's he sends me a picture of Vincent, he was covering his face and the other one is a smiling Vincent.

I smiled like a fool staring at Vincent's photos.

He's enjoying I bet and it's great well I'm not jealous, but I just want him to smile at me without a worry like back when we were still kids, yes I'am selfish when it comes to Vincent and I won't lie about that.

So I've decide to take him on a date tomorrow. I've been researching about the best place where I could take him.

So after I'm done with work I'm gonna tell him about it. We could use a little time alone with each other, I'll just hope he'll agree.
