Happy birthday Eli
*Elijah's POV*
I'm at work today and we're getting busy cuz there'll be an upcoming event.
And also the celebration for the
anniversary of the company.
"Hey Elijah how are you doing?" Mr. Gaël ask me
"I'm fine Sir I've finished a lot and there are still left to edit for the design.
" That's great, thanks for the hard work Elijah why don't you take a break" he said as I nod.
I've decided to take a little break and I looked at my phone.
I saw the number of Lucas, he gave this to me the other day and said to contact him if I needed anything.
I really enjoyed the restaurant it's cute and has amazing structure. It's simple yet attractive.
I don't know why Lucas suddenly invited me. I u-m he barely even know me and we only met thrice I guess.
And treated me with lunch twice, why would he do that for me. I mean I'm not that interested but it's bothering me.
What could be his intention? well it's fine not knowing though but I just want to know why.
He couldn't have like me right? I mean I'm not attractive and mostly he's hot, how could someone rich like him likes a person like me?
I asked myself, I bet he likes beautiful girls.
I burry the thought cuz I know it wouldn't happen and it never will. What am I thinking, I sigh.
I don't know anything about love thingy or what you call that, I have never experienced that kind of thing especially to my family.
Well about my family I just said to them that I would transfer to another house cuz my job is far from our place.
I guess they weren't worried at all and they didn't even say goodbye or something, they just let me go like I was nothing to them.
They don't care much and I bet they wish me gone forever.
After I'm done with work I head back to the cafe. As soon as I arrived the cafe was empty and I saw Rosie, Nikolai and Jacob sitting on the chair.
"Hey guys why is the cafe empty you guys closing early?" I asked them.
"Oh you're here we've been waiting for you" said Rosie.
"Okay can I ask why?" I said
"We haven't had time together as friends, so we've decided to close the cafe and celebrate a little like enjoy just the four of us" she explained.
"Yeah we've been busy lately, you were working and we run the cafe to help Mrs. Hail" Jacob said.
"How thoughtful of you guys, your'e right we hadn't have time anymore I guess let's enjoy this day" I said.
"And alsooooo you actually thought we didn't surprise you? Nikolai said.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELIJAH!!!!!!" they all said in chorus. I was surprised and I'm so happy I can't help get emotion. I haven't been surprise like this before.
"Oh don't cry baby" Rosie said to me as she hand me the cake.
"Okay make a wish" she said
I did and I blowed the candle as they cheered me.
"Yey let's go take a look at your room" Nikolai said and I was confused of what they did to my room.
We head upstairs and as they open the door I was shocked at my room full of decorations, balloons and everything. My pictures and theirs were hung at the wall.
"Guys I can't believe this I don't know what to say" I said to them
"Thank you?" Nikolai said
"Yes thank you very much guys I really appreciate what you did" I said as they hugged me.
"It's alright don't cry you're a grown up man now" Rosie said.
As I scan my eyes at the decorations I saw one picture, it's a picture of me and that boy.
I stared at the boy and it seemed so familiar. I tried to remember him but I just couldn't.
Who could this boy be I turned the picture back and I saw something wtitten on it.
It says V and L? I think they're initials.
"Hey what are you thinking there?" Rosie said as she looked at the picture with shock.
"What's wrong?" I ask
"T-the picture" she said
"What about it?" I asked
"U-hm what? no I-um nothing" she said shaking her head.
"Okay?" I replied
"Well why don't we eat downstairs" Rosie said gesturing us to go down. What happened to her? She seemed off.
We all went down to have dinner.
"Hey you ready for dinner kids?" Mrs.Hail spoke as we entered the kitchen. My eyes widen as I looked at the table with so many foods.
"Wow Mrs. Hail did you do all this?" I asked
"Yes boy for your special day" she replied.
"I- didn't have to um there's so many" I said.
"It's alright Elijah just enjoy the day and stop worrying okay? You guys eat will ya?" she said smiling.
"O-okay thank you very much Mrs.Hail I couldn't thank you enough for this" I said.
"Your'e welcome Elijah now sit down and eat" she said.
I smiled and I scan my eyes to the foods. I had my favorite vege foods, also lots of lemon juice and more. I couldn't ask for more.

After we celebrated my birthday I head upstairs to feed lily her favorite food tuna. I decided to take a bathe and pull down my pants and my shirt off.
I looked in the mirror and saw that I'm not that skinny anymore but my hair is getting longer than I though.
I opened the shower and felt the good cold water I always loved this feeling.
I prefered cold water than hot though I don't know why, maybe it's because I got used to being in a cold environment my past.
After I showered I rub my hair with a towel, and looked at the room filled with designs. I smiled at the though that my friends are good in designing.
Well Nikolai and Jacob we've taken Interior design and Rosie well she's a girl that's why it's pink. Thank you guys all of you I whispered.
