*Still Lucas's POV*

I decided to go back to my condo and finish some files after saying goodbye to Vincent.

I sigh, "has mom talk to dad about cancelling the marriage"

No matter how many times that bitch asked me, I can expand my business without her company.

Especially I don't want Vincent to know about this it'll only stress him out.

I head to my office to get my laptop as I enter the hallway I saw Vanessa.

Is this woman here to bother me again jeez. Can't she give up already?.

"Hey Lucas" she said grinning.

"What do you want!?" I growl at her

"I heard you have a boyfriend" she said smirking. As I widen my eyes wait, how did she know about Vincent.

"What? I don't know what you're talking about" I said as I tried to walk away.

"Okay I want to invite you for a dinner" she said.

"For what?!" I snap at her.

"Come on just once and I'll stop bothering you" she said.

"Fine then! just assure me you won't bother me anymore and tell your father to cancel the marriage" I said

"Yeah alright I assure you, at 7 then at my hotel" she said as she exited the door.

"I gotta do this in order for her not to bother me anymore" I said

I texted Vincent that I have to go for a business meeting, I just didn't tell him that I'll be meeting Vanessa.

It's already 6:30 and decided to head to the hotel so we can start having dinner and I can go home early.

I'm not planning on staying there for long.

I arrived a fee minutes at the hotel and entered to where Vanessa is.

"You've arrived early" she said.

"Yeah so I can go back home early" I said sarcasticly.

"Don't be like that, anyway how is your cute boyfriend?" she asked.

"Don't bother him or I'll dig a grave for you!" I reply gruffly

"Jeez calm down, I won't hurt your precious boyfriend" she said smirking.

"Just make sure" I said.

"Yeah whatever" she said as we started eating.

I looked at my phone to see Vincent's message.

From Love: Hey I'm eating dinner, how's your business meeting?"

To Love: Yeah I had dinner already, it's fine I'll see you tomorrow my love

From Love: See you❤️

After we had dinner I decided to go home quickly.

I texted Vincent Goodnight and head to bed after taking a shower.

I woke up early cuz I'll be having a meeting at 9.

I head to the office an hour early, so I can have a time to rest.

I checked my phone to call Vincent and saw a message from him as I smiled.

He's sending me a photo so rare of him.

I opened his message and I widen my eyes to see an unexpected photo.

"What the hell is this?" I said as I tighten my grip.

It's a photo of Vanessa and me when we're having a dinner, I didn't knew she'd taken a photo.

That bitch how dare she takes a photo and send it to Vincent.

I rushed quickly to my car and head to the cafe not minding the meeting anymore.

Fck I bet Vincent is gonna kill me. I got to explain it to him.

I lied to him and I even promised to him that I won't ever hurt him and now I did.

I opened the door as I spotted Rosie.

"Where is he?" I asked.

"What the hell did you do?" she burst at me.

"Just tell me where he is!" I shouted.

"In the room he's been crying so hard" she said as I felt pain in my chest.

I rushed upstairs and knocked on the door.

"Hey love? it's me Lucas I need to talk to you" I said.

"Go away!" he replied crying.

Shit! I made him cry, this is all my fault.

"Baby please hear me out" I said pleading as I felt tears running down in my cheeks.

"Just go, I don't want to talk to you" he shouted.

I felt my heart brok down in pieces it hurts so bad. I don't want to lose Vincent.

I let him down and right now he doesn't want to talk to me. I hurt the one I love the most, he trusted me and all I did was to hurt him.

I saw Rosie heading towards me.

"I'm sorry" I said to her as I cried.

"Hey just let him cool down a bit okay?" she said.

"But" I said worriedly.

"Just go home for now, I'll take care of him" she said

"I hurt him Rosie I can never forgive myself" I said as I head to my car.

I got back at the office and Luther was there.

"Hey what the hell happened?" he said

I explained everything to him.

"It's not your fault it's Vanessa's, I'm gonna kill that bitch!" he said angrily.

"I know it's my fault, he's angry about the thought that I lied to him, that I'm having a business meeting but instead he knew I was with a woman.

"Okay man just give him some time" he said.

"What if he never wants to talk to me again?" I said panicking.

"Calm down Lucas, he' ll come to you I know" he said.

"I can't go on without him, I love him Luther I finally found him after 15 years, I don't want to lose him again" I said as I cover my face as I sigh.

"I'll let Rosie talk to Vincent okay?" he said.

"Okay thank you Luther" I said to him.

After Luther went out I head back to my condo deciding not to work today.

I sigh, " I missed him"

He's been ignoring my calls, I know I fucked up but at least he'll allow me to explain and sort this thing out together.

I hate it when he's crying and upset, I really wanted to see him. But I'll let him cool first.

It's been a week and still Vincent doesn't want to talk me.

I kept going back to the cafe and still the dame everyday, he kept pushing me away.

I send flowers for him and made his favourite food all day making sure he won't starve.

He wouldn't go out his room so Rosie just sends food to his room.

And it hurts like hell, does he even have a plan on sorting this out?.

I've been focusing on my work lately and tried to forget the pain.

It's just too much.
