Chapter 38

*Lucas's POV*

I wasn't really on a business trip today I just told Vincent that I'll have more time to prepare.

I'm planning on proposing to Vincent today so I rented the whole Eiffel Tower, which is the place where I'll be doing my proposal.

I couldn't think of anything better but this.

I knew he loves the scenery of this Tower so I did it for him.

I will provide everything for him just to make Vincent happy.

I've been planning it for a long time and now is the right time.

I'm so excited I can't help smiling, the time finally comes where I'll make him mine forever.

I can't stop falling in love with him each and everyday.

And especially I'll never get tired of him saying I love you.

Just him saying that makes my surrounding sparks where I can't see anything else but him.

I can't wait to make new memories with him, give him goodnight kisses every night as I hold him tightly in my arms.

I didn't bought a new ring, I planned on giving him the wedding ring of my beloved grandma and grandpa, she gave it to me when she was alive.

I really missed her and grandpa, I couldn't remember well my grandpa cuz he died when I was a kid.

I remember my grandma used to read books for me, sang a lullaby so I can sleep every night.

I love them both and through this ring I'll remind me of them.

It's really precious to me, she said to wear it one on my wedding day and the other for my special someone.

And finally I found the rightful partner and owner of this ring and it's Vincent.

I'm kinda nervous, I really want to spend my life with him, I love him so much that I really want to marry him.

I want him to be a part of my life forever.

I want to see him walking down the aisle with me.

I'll make this day memorable for the both of us.

I've been here since morning preparing, I'll make this perfect and I won't mess this up.

Vincent is with the gang today and also Luther.

Luther knows I'll be proposing today so he know the plan.

We will have birthday party today to celebrate Nikolai's birthday but I said I can't make it because of my business trip well as an excuse of course.

I hope he won't kill me for lying though.

After I'm done preparing I'll message Luther to get on with the plan.

"I hope he'll love this" I say scanning my eyes around the decorations I've made.

There are candles from the door leading towards me.

I looked at my watch and immediately texted Luther.

I turned the lights off and the only lights were from the candles, I ready myself and waited till Vincent arrives.

I felt sweat running down from my forehead, shit it's cold here yet I'm sweating. I guess I'm getting nervous.

I haven't gotten nervous this much, maybe because this is the most special moment where you ask someone to be a part of your whole life.

I heard the door opened lightly, I guess he's here already.

As the door opened I saw his beautiful face with confusion he looked down to the candles and then to me.

He cover's his mouth when he saw me.

"B-babe? is that y-you? W-why are you here?" he asked confusingly

I walk towards him as he quickly came to me rushing.

I hold his hands as I stare at his bright eyes, as I gulp

"Mr. Hamilton we've been together for a year now and I cherished every moment that we've spent together, I thought my life was complete, happy and full before I knew you.
But you came into my life and changed that, I couldn't imagine myself without you in my life, all I can do is think about you every day, Love you literally complete me.

I know we've been through hard times and I'm ready to conquer those times with you.

I love you so much I can't explain it like I just love you so much really that there is nothing better than knowing I get to wake up by your side every morning and fall asleep in your arms in the night.
You're really the best in the world and no else on earth has ever made me feel like the way you do, I love you all all my heart and I promise to be your man, always. I will make you the happiest man on earth.

With you I have the courage to be myself, and I promise to always be faithful and honest, and to give you the same trust and respect you give me.
I offer you my strength and support, my love and loyalty I offer you everything I'am and everything I will be." I said as his tears started to fall

I kneel down as I open the case showing him the ring.

"Vincent my love, I'am here today to give you this ring as a symbol of my love, from this day you shall not walk alone anymore and ask your hand in marriage, will you marry me?" I smile to him as he cried

"Lucas" he said holding my hand as he gesture me up.

"I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life you! Yes! Yes! I want to marry you!" he exclaim

"I- don't know what to say" I said as I hugged him tightly in my arms.

"Thank you love, very much" I say as I felt tears running down in my cheeks

"I'am so happy Lucas, this is the one of best things you've ever done to me" he said.

"I love you very much" I said to him as I cupped his cheeks as I lean to kiss him

"I love you too Mr. CEO" he smile
