When she woke up, the sky was already dark, then she realized that she was already on her bed.
Noah fished her phone out of her pocket, then she saw that it was 8 in the evening. She stretched her limbs and sat up on her bed, then she caught a glimpse of the note that's on her nightstand.
Tried my best not to wake you up while I carried you up here. I hope you had a good dream. B x
Noah's heart melted at the gesture, then she turned her phone on and typed a message down.
Noah: I did have a good dream. Thank you x
After pressing send, she got up on her feet and left her room, then she went down the stairs. Her phone beeped, then she read Brad's reply.
Brad: I knew it. You were dreaming of me :3
Noah wasn't able to see where she was going, so she accidentally missed a step on the stairs, causing her to slip and land on her bottom before sliding down the stairs. Immediately, her grandfather got to her.
"I guess being clumsy when you're in love is a common thing now, huh?" Her grandfather asked after seeing that she was still in one piece, causing Noah to blush.
"Are you okay?" He asked again, then she nodded her head.
"I'm fine, grandpa. Can you please help me get up?" Noah asked, then her grandfather smiled before helping her up. She thanked him as she patted herself clean from the dust on the floor.
"Brad cooked dinner, by the way. He said that he was feeling extra productive," her grandfather said, then Noah smiled and looked at the ground.
"Must be good for him, huh?" Noah said, then she and her grandfather went to the kitchen, where a hot bowl of creamy potato soup was served along with some bread on the side.
"Completely vegetarian," her grandfather said, making Noah's heart melt. They both sat down, then Noah made her grandfather get some soup first so she can text Brad.
Noah: Nice try. I was actually dreaming that you were ignoring me ;)
She giggled to herself as she put the phone down, and within seconds, her phone buzzed again.
Brad: Are you Cecilia? Because you're breaking my heart </3
Noah laughed, then she thought of a witty comeback.
Noah: No, I'm Noah :) thank you for the soup, by the way. Grandpa seems to be enjoying it
After putting her phone down, she poured some soup for herself, then she heard her phone ping again.
Brad: No problem :) see you tomozzle!
"Is that Brad?" Her grandfather asked her, then she chuckled as she continued to put some soup in her bowl after reading the text from her notifications bar.
"Yeah, it is. I just thanked him for the soup," Noah said, then her grandfather smiled.
"Good. He'll appreciate it," her grandfather said, then they started to eat.
"So, what happened with Klaus and Judy? Did you have a good-catch up with them?"
"As a matter of fact, yes. They even showed me Elizabeth's works and tried to convince me that she has no potential for art."
"Well, did you agree?"
"Of course not. They were just telling lies. Her works were beautiful, and I was brave enough to tell them that on their faces," Noah's grandfather said, making her look at him.
