Marissa Eves popped into the room with a huge smile on her face. Next to her was Rose Paven, her girlfriend. Rose was something out of this world. She was the sweetest girl Marissa could've found, and she was lucky to have her.

"Hey! Kats. Come on then, you know what time it is." Marissa grinned. On the bed lay Kati. She didn't seem to want to move.

"Kati?" Marissa looked concerned. She turned to Rose. "Babe, can you give me a minute with button?" Rose nodded, kissed Marissa and headed downstairs.

"Button?" Kati sat up. Her face was glowing.

"Marissa Eves. ROSE TOLD ME YOU TWO MADE IT OFFICIAL!" Marissa chuckled, before being tackled to the ground.

"Kati get OFF me, oh my god." Kati screeched, pinning Mari to the ground.

"HOW could you not tell me the moment it happened?! This is HUGE!" Marissa laughed, pushing Kati off of her.

"You were busy!"

"Was NOT!"

"Liar."

Kati laughed, wrapping Marissa in a big hug. "You're the most insufferable best friend I've ever had."

"I'm the ONLY best friend you've ever had, Kati."

"There's Teal!"

"Yeah, right."

Marissa rolled her eyes and walked out the door, Kati screeching and running after her. The two ran into Teal Seabren, his face a look of pure surprise.

"Gods. You think you'd be safe in a house."

Kati leaped up, wrapping him in a hug. "I'm happy to see you too, princess."

She giggled, linking both their arms together. "Shall we, Madame Eves and Mister Seabren?"

Teal and Marissa looked solemn. "We shall, Madame Lopez."

Laughing, the three of them went out of the house, all decked out and ready for a movie night. As they walked off, Teal's hand in Kati's and Marissa's arms around Rose's waist, Kati Lopez thought she was the luckiest girl in the whole damn world.
