We both meet and go explore the festival. I was a floral reddish-pink kimono with ribbons tied onto my hair. I look at Garou and see he's staring at me.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked. He looks away.

"N-No..." he says blushing underneath his mask. We go explore different stands. I buy him some meatballs on a stick as he tries them.

"You don't go out with girls, do you?" I asked.

"Tsk, I never bothered too," he said. "I was busy becoming the strongest,"

I bought some rice balls and eat one. Garou looked at it and tried to take a bite eventually just putting the whole thing in his mouth.

"Hey!" I said. He smirks looking at me. He puts his mask back on as we continued our walk.

"Babe~ Doesn't this hairpin look good on me?!" a girl says to her boyfriend in front of us hugging his arm. He smiles.

"It does, you look like the prettiest girl in the whole festival," he says.

(Garou's POV)

The two annoying lovers couldn't stop being annoying. I kept walking then looked and noticed Chiaki wasn't by my side. I looked behind me and noticed she stopped. I walk back.

"Why the hell did you stop?" I asked. I position my posture forward ready to walk. She still didn't budge as I looked over my shoulder. She grabbed my arm and hid behind me looking down.

"Umm, let's go away from them," she said upset.

"Hm?" I looked in front at the two lovers. Ah, that guy must be her ex. I'm not sure what I felt at this moment. I wanted to beat his face up in front of his new girlfriend for Chiaki, but why did I feel like that? I didn't seem to have liked Chiaki looking so upset. I felt something dripping down my arm. I looked back to see Chiaki in tears. We walk away from our original direction and took another turn. I don't want to see her crying in front of everyone, it would cause attraction to us. I take her somewhere a little farther than the festival. I looked at her and noticed we were holding hands.

"Y-You're squeezing my hand a little tight," she says. I let go and watched her cry. She gave me a hug and cried in my chest. I looked down at her unsure of what to do. I've never been put in such a situation.

"I-I'm sorry," she said.

"For what?" I asked.

"Not being strong enough to get over him. I guess there was just a little of pain he left on my heart," she said.

"How could he leave pain on your heart? Should I dissect you to check your heart?" I asked. She looked up at me still filled with sad tears falling down her face and smiled laughing.

"Garo- I mean Red, I wasn't being literal. I'm saying that he must've hurt me and that hurt must've stayed within my brain to make me weak enough to feel upset," she went back into my chest. "I'll calm down quickly, but I need some water"

"I'll try and get some for you," I said. I walked back into the festival and saw her ex again. He lifted his arm with an unopened water bottle. I quickly ran and snatched it going back to Chiaki. He must be wondering where it went, stupid human. I give Chiaki the bottle as she took a few sips. She took a few deep breaths.

"Thanks, Red," she said. "I think I'll be able to go on now, just might be a bit hesitated when around him,"

"What happened between you two?" I asked curiously. Wait, why am I even interested?

"He would just let out a lot of his anger onto me. I feel stupid now for still staying with him thinking he would change for the better. He was a manipulating jerk. He seemed nice and seemed to have swept me off my feet so easily. It seemed as if nothing was wrong with him until we moved in together and he would do lots of abusing along with having fun with other women behind my back," she says looking down. "So, I'm not doing the best, but I've been trying to find myself again," she looks back up and smiles. I wipe the tears away from her face. She looked kind of...cute.

"Umm, Red? You keep staring at me, could you let go now?" she asked.

"Oh, I-I...Yes," I said letting go.

(Chiaki's POV) (Start the music from above~)

It felt really nice seeing Garou a little bit soft towards me. I thought he was going to laugh about my past with my ex, but he was actually acknowledging my pain. It made me happy. Is he really that bad of a monster?

"You're actually a pretty sweet person," I said hugging his arm.

"Tsk, no I'm not," he says looking away.

"How did you get away from your base?" I asked.

"I just leave whenever I want too, they all know I'm the Hero Hunter. They're just going to assume I'm trying to find some heroes to beat,"

"Do you ever want to fall in love? Even if all you care about is strength?" I asked.

"I'm not sure how to answer that question, even if I did fall in love, I wouldn't know what it felt like," he said.

"I see," we walked back to the event as I continued to buy food and souvenirs. "Tell me, do you ever feel lonely?"

Garou doesn't answer for a few minutes.

"Yes..." he says. "Even if we have lots of monsters, I don't feel any comfort with them,"

We suddenly hear my phone as I look at it clicking on a voice mail.

"Attention, there's been a spotting of the so-called "Hero Hunter". We can't locate his exact location, but just to let everyone know who has been sent this. Look throughout the cities to make sure he is taken. If it goes to extreme measures, eliminate him at all costs!"

I look at Garou and hold his hand dragging him out of the festival going under a cherry blossom tree.

"So they've spotted me huh? Aren't you going to report me?" he asked. I shake my head no.

"It'd be a waste of time, we're doing something else right now. I'd want to enjoy it before the monsters take over, right?" I look at him and smile. He looks shocked at my response. We hear a big noise up in the sky and noticed the fireworks have started. We watched the array of colors spark up with beautiful designs. I smile. Garou and I would catch each other staring at one another from time to time.

"Garou, get down a bit and take off your mask," I said.

"Why?" he asked suspiciously.

"I'm not going to attack, I promise,"

He slowly bends down still taller than me. He looks around to make sure no one is watching us from afar or else the moment would be ruined. He slowly takes his mask staring at me.

"So what did you want?" he asks. "The show isn't done, isn't that why you wanted me to come with you?"

I touch the sides of his face and pull in closer kissing him as the fireworks shot up in front of us. All while the petals fall from above us. All while the wind gently breezing, brushing past us. Is it wrong to kiss a monster? To side with him on certain parts? I slowly pull back as he looks at me blushing. He didn't look angry at all. He seemed to have also enjoyed that kiss. I smile and pull him back for another one.

"I'll teach you what it's like to fall in love then," I said smiling while touching his cheeks. He looks at me and nods slowly.

"Alright then, what have I got to lose?" he said smiling. He's really letting his guard down for me.
