Chapter 5: Secret Relationship

"Let's get out of here Garou," I said. He nods and picks me up running back to my house in the woods. He sets me down as I unlock the door and we both go in.

"Umm...Sorry about that kiss. I'm just not sure what I did..." I said.

"I-It's fine, I think...That I might like keeping you as mine...A-Ahem.," he says. 

"You won't kill my ex, right?" I asked crossing my arms. 

"...Fine..." he says. "Just stop crying, I don't like it when you're crying,"

He came off as cold, but he just didn't want me to be upset.

"Are you sure this is okay?" I asked him.

"I don't think that people would accept us," he says.

"I guess we'll have to keep it a secret," I said. He pulls me close and lifts my chin up.

"So, what drew you to a monster like me?" he asks smirking. I smile laughing.

"Not sure, maybe you just gave me a love potion or something when I was asleep," I said and kissed him. 

"I think you poisoned me with your lips..." Garou says as we kiss again. "I must keep you at all cost," 

"Garou...Don't ever leave my side..." I said hugging him tightly. He hugs me back squeezing me. "G-Garou! Y-You're crushing me!" 

He loosens up a bit.

"Who would've thought someone who works for the Heroes Association would fall for someone like me?" he says laughing a bit.

"Do you have to go back tonight?" I asked. He nods.

"I have to go back and somewhat injure a hero first," he says. "Don't worry, they won't die," 

"Okay, just make sure not to come to my house every day, or else, they'll get suspicious," I said. He nods and slowly let go. He goes to my room and changes back into his original outfit coming back and kissing me. He sticks a diamond butterfly hairpin on my head as I look up at him.

"Good night Chiaki," he says and leaves. I look a mirror and noticed the hairclip. I smile and close the door locking everything.
