Mammon x Reader

(MC's POV)
     As I slowly opened my eyes, I realized how unusually quiet the House of Lamentation was. That's when I remembered, it was Saturday. Even so, it was never this quiet however it did allow me to hear the small pitter patter of the rain against my window.

I groggily opened my eyes and cracked my blinds. As I peered out my window I saw the rolling rain clouds. I watched for a moment, the sound of the rain soothing to my ears, when I got an idea. It wasn't lightning nor was it thundering, and the rain wasn't heavy at all. Despite how childish the idea sounded, I wanted to go play in the rain.

Not wanting to get my pajamas soaked, I changed into (s/f/c) shorts and a (f/c) tank top that I didn't mind getting wet. As I was changing, I decided to head to the dining room so I could convince one of the brothers to join me.

After pulling on my tennis shoes, I grabbed my D.D.D and marched down the stairs. Once I reached the bottom, I was met with an unusual sight. Not a single demon was in the dining room. Figuring they were just in the living room, I made my way there instead. I was once again met with an empty room. I began to wander through the whole house, and when I came up with nothing after my search I sat on a couch in the living room in defeat.

'Wait a minute,' I thought. 'Mammon always wakes me up for his shenanigans, he can put up with mine this one time.'

With my new plan in mind, I left the comfort of the couch and began my journey up the stairs to the white haired demon's room. I arrived at his door and knocked softly. When I got no response I knocked again. When I got nothing but silence after my third attempt, I decided to just open the door.

     I peeked into the room, praying I wouldn't see anything I didn't want to. I looked to my left and saw a bundle of blankets in the middle of Mammon's bed. I walked over and sat on the edge of the bed, not waking the sleeping demon next to me.

"Mammon," I muttered, no response. "Mammon," I said a little louder. This time the sleepy demon stirred a little but he still didn't wake up. 'Looks like I need to take drastic measures,' I thought. "Mammonnnnnn," I whined as I threw myself on him.

"Ngh, oi, what do ya want stupid human," I got in response. "Mammon, go outside with me!" "Eh? Outside?" He mumbled still half asleep. "But it's rainin' outside (Y/N)," he complained. "So? Come onnnnnn, I promise it'll be fun!" I responded with enthusiasm. "Fine, but only because THE Great Mammon is feeling especially generous with his time today." "Yay!" I cheered like a little kid. "Now hurry up and get ready! I'll be waiting outside your door."

As I walked out of his room I could've sworn I heard him mutter 'what are you doing to me human.' I decided to just ignore it and wait for him outside his door.

(Mammon's POV)
"What're ya doin' to me human," I mutter as I watched (Y/N) practically skip out of my room so I could get changed. As I was changing I began to grow concerned that they were gonna get sick from the rain, cause you know, they're human and all. But the look on their face when they suggested going into the rain, they just looked so adorable when they talked about what they liked. Nahhh what am I thinking, The Great Mammon shouldn't waste his time on a human, but they always seem to be on my mind anyway. Oh, crap, (Y/N)'s still waiting outside my door.

(Y/N's POV)
     'What's taking him so long?' I thought as I sat against the wall outside Mammon's door. "Oi, human, let's get goin' before the rain stops," I heard from my right. "Finally," I sighed, "let's go!" I cheered as I grabbed his hand and dashed for the front doors. Not once did I notice how hard he blushed from the little contact that was shared between us. "Slow down will ya? We're gonna break somethin'!"

     Not once breaking stride I burst through the front doors of the house and ran into the rain, paying no mind to the blushing tsundere behind me. I let out a laugh and a cheer as the refreshing rain hit my face. I kept running until eventually I saw an upcoming hill. I smirked as an idea came to mind. I kept running up the hill, careful not to trip. Once Mammon and I hit the top of the hill I fell to my knees and slid down the grass with the help of the rain, Mammon right behind me.

     "(Y/N)!" He shouted as we slid down. I let out a laugh as reached the meadow at the bottom of the hill. I stood up and offered my hand for the shocked boy in front of me. Once he was up I twirled around, hand still in his, and once I was facing him again he placed his hand that I wasn't holding on my hip.

     We both stood in shock that he had made such a bold move, but our shock turned into happiness and we both began dancing in the rain. The next half hour was filled with laughter and twirls and plenty of slips and falls. Eventually, we both lay in the grass a tired and happy mess.

     "I told you this was a good idea," I said and turned to Mammon with a smile. He just gazed back at me with an adorable lazy smile and said, "The Great Mammon isn't usually one to agree with a weak human like you, but just this once I'll agree." We both stared at each other for a moment, and before I knew it our faces were inches apart.

     "And one more thing," Mammon muttered. I shivered, as I could feel his breath on my lips. I gasped as he closed the mere inches that separated us. My heart was going over a hundred miles an hour, and I was pretty sure it was beating loud enough for Lord Diavolo to hear all the way from his palace.

     "Being the Avatar of Greed an all," he continued. "I like, no, I love ya human. So you're all mine, ya got that? I ain't sharin' ya with no one, not even my brothers." He spoke with a blush that put Diavolo's uniform to shame.

     "Okay, my sweet little tsundere, but expect me to return the favor." I replied with a giggle. "O-oi! Ya can't embarrass me like that!" He shouted, all his confidence from moments before disappearing. I just laughed again. "My little tsundere," I whispered once again as I leaned down to kiss him for the second time.

(At the House of Lamentation)
     "So he finally did it huh? He finally asked (Y/N) out." Asmodeus commented as he and his brothers watched the two from afar. "I should call them in, we don't want them getting sick." Lucifer said. "Being a buzzkill, as always." Belphegor muttered. "Let's leave them be Lucifer," Satan said as he took a picture of the two for future blackmail to use on Mammon. "They deserve to be together, so let's give them a little longer." "Oh young love, I have a good feeling about this relationship~" Asmo sung.
