silver tongue

it's a goodbye, where we won't meet again.
without any explanation or a valid point.
two roads without looking back,
i wanted to look but the heart already cracked.

how could i forget when i used to kiss your forehead every night?

when everytime i come home, you cheered in delight?

once i've seen your eyes with pearly tears,
but when you leave there's no hint of despair.

nobody could beat you at being eloquent,
but i can feel it when your honesty is absent.
easily you pushed me away and left,
when it's my whole soul you leave with, thief.
i see your shadow slowly fading away,
and i held tight on the roses bouquet.
those longing for your warmth slowly went missing,

where are those beautiful words you promising?

even after all these years,
this bittersweet moments always premiers,
in the smallest to the biggest ways,
this breakup turn into a shitty love song cliches.
and i'm here being the one who reminisced.

wishing we never met was a lie,
because you're my most
memorable goodbye.

wishing we never met was a lie, because you're my most memorable goodbye
