I've always longed for summer romanceOf passion like a sun dance
Ever since that sunset
From the moment our eyes met
My soul was yours to take
Yet all I got was summer heartbreak
Remember joking during nighttime sin
That ice cream could cool my skin
Now it only serves to try and heal
The heart you attempted to steal
It lies merely shattered from your breach
Like a broken bottle on the beach
Lapped by my tears that form the ocean
Each drop fashioned from emotion
Because you refused to stay
In other words I could say
Welcome to my home of summer blues
You're the one that I accuse
Of turning my summer kiss
Into a memory to haunt and miss
