[Skylar's POV]

Red and I headed off to meet with Genesis, whom Lack-Two had already arranged a meeting with. I wouldn't hesitate to stop Red if initiates a physical fight with Genesis, even if it means further enlarging my debt to him.

The meet-up location took place in a secluded area at White Forest. The forest itself was already much hidden from the rest of the region though. There wasn't a single Pokemon in sight either, which was strange for a large lush forest with very minimal human residency.

I had explained the entire situation to Red, knowing that I could trust him without any doubts. I first thought he wouldn't believe me, but then I remembered that Red had his own share of dangerous missions with the other dexholders. Lack-Two didn't seemed surprised about my decision to inform Red, but did mention something about happily winning a bet with someone. He was walking a few steps ahead of us, observing our surroundings with as much caution as possible.

The three of us continued to walk in silence. I guess no one was in the mood for any conversation right now, but that was completely understandable.

After a while, we finally reached our destination. And there he was, standing just a few meters away from us. He was dressed in casual clothes along with a pair of dark sunglasses, and apparently had his hair dyed into a shade of mint green. Or maybe it was a wig, I'm not really sure.

"Ah, exactly right on time

"Ah, exactly right on time. You must be Agent Lack-Two," Genesis spoke, walking towards Lack-Two. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you in person."

"The pleasure is all mine." Lack-Two replied, and the two shook hands.

Genesis gave him a brief smile before turning towards me. "Miss Roxxeen. I see you have brought another party member. I continue to strongly believe that the less people who get involved in this situation, the better it would be for the future of the Pokemon World."

"I understand your disappointment," I calmly said, acknowledging the clear disbelief in his voice. "But I assure you that Red can help us. He may not be fully knowledgable about your style of physical training, but he's excellent in all other forms of combat." There was a pretty good reason why Red had been nicknamed as "The Fighter", after all.

"In all other forms of combats, I see..." Genesis smirked. "I'd like to take him up on a challenge, but that could wait for another day."

"Well then, I accept any challenge of yours that both of us would partake in the future." Red firmly said.

I sensed a hint of competitiveness. Could there be another reason why Red seemed quite eager to take up a challenge against my mentor?
