Recap:

"Skylar, get ready in fifteen minutes." Gold peeked in from the doorway, surprising all of us. "We're going out on a date."

[Skylar's POV]

"What. The. Hell?!" Blue shouted, standing up and slammed his hands on the table. His eyes shifted from me to Gold, then back to me again.

Gold smirked, probably in victory. There was that triumphant look on his face, the look that only appears every time he wins a game of pool. Upon seeing this, I knew I had immediately regretted my decision last night. But it was stupid, too. Any sugary treat, no matter what kind, I cannot resist. It's my weakness.

I took a deep breath before speaking. "Unfortunately, it's official. I'm dating Gold..."

Never in my whole life I had thought of saying those words. Until now. I know, I was foolish, too foolish to accept such a horrible deal. But as much as I wanted to, I couldn't resist.

I'm really sorry, Blue. I mean it this time. I'm sorry for disappointing you, when we both know how much we disliked Gold... but it's too late.

Could this be the biggest mistake I have ever made in my whole life?

Nah, of course not. Stop overreacting, Skylar. There are more worse things in the world, such as sleeping with Gold, or even getting pregnant by Gold-okay, I'll stop. The point is, there are a lot of worst-case scenarios than just going out with Gold, but most of them involved Gold.

"Skylar! You can't be serious!" The look on his face expressed pure hatred and shock. Seriously, what was his problem? The way he was acting right now, it reminds me of how Silver would react if he found out.

It was such a stupid decision to make. Gold knew he could have any girl he wanted, and after a year and several months... he finally got me.

When I didn't reply, he spoke again.

"Look here Skylar, the prank war's over," Blue said. "and clearly you're the winner, again. So enough games. I'm not going to believe that stupid joke of yours."

We both know that the prank war's over already. This isn't a joke, Blue. I wish I could tell you that, I really do. I broke two promises in one day. I made a promise to never date the pervert I met in Johto a few years ago.

Why is this happening to me... Arceus, please help.

"Does Silver know about this? What about Red?" Blue asked. I couldn't read his expression at all-was he angry, confused, or both? Maybe it was better if I didn't find out.

"No. They don't." If Silver was here, he would save me for sure. I can't even contact him for the past few days...

"Ha, in your face, Oak! What can I say, I guess things are my favor for now." Gold said.

Blue didn't say anything in return. He just looked down and continued eating his cereal like nothing happened.

I wasn't happy with my situation either, but Gold was still my friend-like it or not, he has my respect. The least I could do was to pretend to be happy.

I went upstairs to change. Lace stayed downstairs, keeping my rival company.

"Hey Lack-Two, have you seen Silver?" I asked as he went out of his room. An Umbreon followed him out- Anino? Okay, what was he doing here?

"Uhh..... Skylar, I don't think I should answer that." he said, not looking at me.

"What do you mean by that? Is there any reason why I shouldn't know where he is?"
