Summary:

Hero's can be broken, but the heroes are not always a hero to themselves. Meet Lil'Nelson, Ninjago City's best HeartSmith. Most people can't see a heart unless they go through tough training. If a heart is fully red, then they are full of love and happiness. If it's grey in any place, then they have some insecurities or other depressing feelings mentally or emotionally.  Fragments of the heart are removed each time the person gets sadder or something else, and if you break your heart or it turns entirely gray, you can't piece it back together. Lil'Nelson, like most of Ninjago, thinks that the Ninja team and co, are perfect people who have no problems, but oh how wrong he was.

Because sometimes heroes have the most demons inside them.

"Thank you come again!" Nelson, or as most people liked called him, Lil'Nelson waved his last customer of the day out of the shop, happily looking at his now fully red heart, which had only 1/3 of red in it not too long ago. The quaint little shop's bell rang as Nelson was going to the back, getting ready to close.

"Excuse me, is this HeartSmith Nelson's shop?" An old woman asks, and Nelson pops out of the backroom, listing off the people he had helped today, and how many times they'd been here.

"Of course! How may I-OH MY FIRST SPINJITZU MASTER!" Nelson looked up to the Misako Garmadon, mother of the green ninja.

"Well, I know it's a bit late, but is it okay if you help our ninja team?" Misako asks.

"But, I thought that they were?" Nelson starts.

"That's what everyone thinks. Most of them hide it, and they all have their demons, I just want them to be happy because it's almost to their breaking point. I'll pay you a million." Misako begs.

"You only need to pay the cost for a group, which is only $40. I'll go, I just need to get some things, and close up the shop." Nelson decides, going into the back room and getting a few signs, and packing a backpack.

"Thank you so much for doing this." Misako smiles, as they both got onto the Destiny's Bounty. Nelson was about to have a fangirl attack, most would kill to be on this famed ship. It took off, and Misako brought Nelson to the living room. He quickly took out a notebook and began jotting down how many fragments were left in their hearts, before they noticed him.

Kai Smith- Only had about 1/3 of red, probably an easy job, but it depends.

Nya Smith- 1/8 of red, maybe needs someone to talk too, but maybe she just needs to let it all out.

Jay Gordon-Walker- 1/8 of red, same as Nya's.

Cole Brookstone- 1/12 of red, not really okay, may need some time.

Zane Julien- Can't read Nindroids but definitely can look to help me to fix the ninja's broken hearts.

Pixal Borg- ^^^ Same as Zane

Skylor Chen- 1/4, some stuff is troubling her, but it won't be that hard.

Seliel Gordon-Walker- 1/2 of red, easy job, quite happy.

Morro- 10 fragments, definitely have some huge regrets, possibly depressed, will need some work.

Finally, the last two ninjas walked in, happily holding each others hands. Nelson's pen almost dropped.

Lloyd Garmadon- 2 fragments, definitely need a lot of help.

Kaylee Skyle- 1 fragment, somethings terribly wrong.

Nelson was shocked. Not a lot of people had 1 fragment, and most importantly, not Kaylee. She was the happiest right?

Definitely put up a facade.

"Everyone, this is HeartSmith Nelson. He'll be helping you guys be happier." Misako explains, making all of the ninja snap to attention.

"But Nindroids don't-" Zane starts.

"Yes, I know, but I think you can be much of a help, helping me out!" Nelson smiles.

"Alright then, how long is this?" Kai asks.

"Until your hearts are back unto a good amount of red, then I'll leave." Nelson stares at Kai.

"I'll show you to your room!" Kaylee offers, leading Nelson over to a nice guest bedroom.

It wasn't long for Nelson to find out what was wrong with them. I was the nightmares and regret that haunted them, and Nelson made sure that everyone knew that, even if it was telling them that they did their best and the people who weren't satisfied were fucking dipshits. Soon, they all healed, and Nelson was happy. It was the day he had to leave.

"Bye, everyone!" Nelson calls, but soon someone stopped him.

"Nelson, what is this?" Seliel asks, her hand holding the broken fragments of Nelson's heart, only a 1/4 section full.

"Why Nelson? Can't you go get yourself fixed?" Lloyd asks.

"Because, you can't fix a broken heart, so I make sure the rest of my red is used, helping people," Nelson admits.

"Well, even though we aren't HeartSmiths, we're helping you. Stay." Morro smiles.

That was bad, but I hoped you got the gist of it.
