Chapter 11: Lost and Found

After I blacked out that day, I woke up in a hospital with Hiro and Hades beside me. I also felt the dextrose in my hand and felt some bandage in my head.

“What happened?” I asked Hiro while trying to sit.

Hiro and Hades held me to sit perfectly.

“The Maniac was already caught and under the police custody.” Sabi ni Hiro habang malamlam na nakatingin sa akin.

His eyes are worried, sad and angry.

Hades also have that look.

“You scared us to death Raven!” Nauna nang maktol ni Hades habang namumula ang mukha at tenga na baka siguro sa galit. 

“Hey Hades, how about buy some food for us will you? By anything you want, for your stress.” Singit ni Hiro sabay bato kay Hades ng kaniyang wallet.

Dahil mabilis ang reflexes ni Hades ay nasalo niya iyon kaagad at bumuntong hininga na lamang.

“I’ll be right back.” Sabi nito at padabog na isinara ang pintuan.

I don’t know but I feel like I was about to break down.

Not because of what happened but because the way Hiro and Hades act. I never felt this way before.

I never had a friend.

I wiped the tears that are trying to escape on my eyes.

“Hey, why are you crying?” It was Hiro. He is now walking towards me and sat on my right side.

“I-I’m just happy.” Nakangiti kong sabi habang nakatingin ng diretso sa mga mata nito.

He also looked at me the same way I did and wiped my tears.

My heart is beating like crazy again. Siguro ay dahil umiiyak nga ako.

“Sssh. Stop crying Ray, hindi ka namin pababayaan ni Hades. We’ll make sure that guy will pay for what he did to you.” He sincerely said while looking straight into my eyes.

Dahan-dahan lang akong tumango sa kaniya at pinunasan ang mga luha ko.

What happened next made me dumbfounded.

Hiro wrapped his arms around me and gave me a hug.

“My God Ray, you always make me anxious whenever you’re not around!” He groaned.

I was astonished by the way he act, and this hug feels like a safe haven for me. I feel comfortable.

Halos matumba naman si Hiro sa sahig nang bigla ko itong naitulak ng malakas nang biglang bumukas ang pintuan at iniluwa niyon si Hades.

We are in an awkward position when he spotted us.

Hiro is in the ground while I was frozen sitting in the bed.

“Did I interrupt something?” Kunot ang noong tanong ni Hades.

Hiro just stood up and sat on the sofa.

“Wala. You’re just in time actually.” I plainly answered while looking into his eyes.

Patango-tango lamang siya habang inilalapag ang mga pagkain. Maya’t-maya ay tumigil ito at tumitig sa akin. I

I just gave him a questioning look and he just heaved a big sigh.

Then suddenly he walked towards my direction and like Hiro he wrapped his arms around me.
