Enver and I didn't talk while we are both on our way back home.
Nang nakarating na kami sa gate ay halatang mas naging strikto ang mga security sa bahay. I pulled the car over and some men in suits knocked. I rolled the window open at tinignan kung sino ang kasama ko. They saw me and Enver.
"Callister, you are ordered to report to the company." Sabi ni Kuya.
"Yes--"
"No." Sabat ko. "He should probably take a rest for now. May sugat siya sa paa niya, he can't walk properly."
Enver stared at me and stared at the guy blocking us.
The guy nodded and Enver sighed.
The gate swayed opened and I took a sharp breathe after I saw Andre's motorbike outside the house. Doubled din ang numbers ng guards na nasa labas ng bahay. Malaki naman talaga ang business ni Papa. And I think Andre handled the situation well to stay safe. Too bad Andre won't know how Bhryle contributed to this problem.
It was prevented.
In an unexpected way.
Pero okay na ako ngayon since all I ask is my brother's safety. And everyone else's safety.
"I'll call someone to guide you sa paglalakad."
"Hindi na." Sabi niya. "Okay na po ako-"
"You are not okay. Can't you see na ako yung nag-treat sayo? I may not be a doctor pero alam ko na ang possible na mangyayari kapag binalewala mo lang ang sugat mo." Sabi ko. Oh my god, does he think healed kaagad ang sugat after several stitches? It's a gunshot, Callister.
Patay na yung engine ng kotse pero hindi pa din kami lumalabas.
"You always cut me off, Ma'am." He commented.
Yeah, I did.
Kasi I don't like holding my fact.
I got out of the car and called a security agent to help Enver.
But Enver got out of the car.
"Just how stubborn you are, Enver."
Napatingin naman ang lalaking parang bata pa ang mukha. Nagtataka siguro siya kung bakit I am way too casual and insulting siguro?
I am still wearing my nurse uniform.
I can't believe na hindi pa ako nakaligo.
But when I am done telling the baby-faced agent na alalahanin si Enver ay napatakbo ako sa loob ng bahay.
Hinahanap ng mga mata ko ang pamilya ko.
When I saw Andre and my parents sa dining area ay kaagad akong napaluha. I hid my face using both my palms. Pero yung mga paa ko ay naglalakad pa din.
"She's here. Where have you been, ija?" I heard Mom said.
Napatingin ako sa kanila.
They are perfectly safe.
Andre opened his arms wide and held me.
He hugged me like I am a teddy bear.
"I'm glad you are safe, Amelie. We have been searching for you." Dad stated and I hugged him too. All of a sudden, a group hug was formed.
"Thanks for waiting for me," I said and sobbed. "Glad you are here. All of you." I said and I felt a kiss planted on my forehead.
