their history teacher, mr. brown, came in the classroom.

"good morning, class!"

once again, like everytime a teacher comes, the students greet them. "good morning, mr. brown"

he set down his laptop and bag on the teacher's desk, "so, for today, we are too ahead of our lessons already,"

"free time?"

"yes, you can have free time for today"

once the teacher said this, the class erupted in happiness, but not too loud since other classes were studying.

"what's free time?" betty asked pretty much no one, but jaiden answered "its where we can do anything we want! only rule is, be quiet and dont leave the classroom".

"i like this school already" mj whispered as she went back to her book.

"wait, sir, can we just watch a movie on your laptop instead?" y/n aksed, turning to mr. brown,

the other students shared 'yes'es as an answer. "alright"

the teacher plugged his laptop to the projector, and opened it, then started looking at the movies on his laptop.

peter, already sitting beside y/n when the teacher announced free time, saw the girl's eyes light up when she saw a certain movie title on the projected screen.

"y/n! there's death cure!" bea said, repeatedly tapping y/n back, "i know! sir!! death cure, please!"

then, the rest of the class erupted and everyone was saying what movie to watch.

"isnt that one of the movies on the maze runner series?" peter asked lowly to the girl, to which she nodded rapidly.

"sir, play death cure!" peter joined in, to which y/n turned to her with a smile.

"alright, alright" mr. brown said, as he pulled up the movie.

there were a couple people who groaned, not seeming interested in the movie. others shrugged, not really caring what plays, as long as they have free time. then there was y/n, who had the brightest smile and the brightest light in her eyes.

throughout the movie, some people got invested and started watching. although, they didn't understand much of the events/callbacks since this is the third movie of the series. but y/n, was jumping with happiness when her favorite characters appear.

peter even got a little jealous when she was gushing over newt.

and y/n even recites the dialogues perfectly. with full emotion on her tone as the words come out, and how the pitch changes whenever it switches from one person to another. she also kept telling bea and peter whenever her favorite parts come on, and would even give small side comments under her breath: "i wanted janson to die in a pit of fire".

and when her favorite character, newt, died - oh, her eyes had fuckin niagra falls in them. she was basically trembling, but continues to laugh at herself whenever she'd let out a choked up sob.

well, how could you not? he had a tragic death. even ones who havent seen/been invested, like bea and peter, in the series is tearing up or is really sad. but for y/n, a hardcore fan, well shit. even if she'd seen this part, one or two or twenty-five times, she still is wrecked over it everytime.

when peter noticed the girl, "aww" he cooed as he wrapped his arm her and rubbed her shoulder for comfort. y/n just laughed it off, not noticing the contact.

bea on the other hand, saw this, and her eyes widened. she was sitting right behind her and she couldn't help for a cheeky grin to creep up her face.

chloe also noticed, then immediately and rapidly lightly tapping louise's shoulder. "what?" louise asked, then the other girl pointed at y/n and peter, who was sitting a few chairs infront of them on the opposite column.

jaiden noticed the two girls, followed chloe's finger, and her eyes landed on the [your hair color/black] girl laying her head on the brunette boy, as he had his arm around her, quietly laughing at y/n emotional sensitivity at the certain death scene. she smirked at the sight.

the others were either too invested in the movie, or doing their own thing. but for bea, chloe, louise, and jaiden - its gonna be a real interesting talk between them.
