"hey guys. we have a new recruit! this is felicia hardy, aka black cat!"

that day.

the day tony introduced the new avenger - felicia - is the day y/n's life began falling apart.

at first, felicia was actually really nice to her. they became quick friends.

but, it started with tony first.

y/n was like tony's kid (because tony literally adopts every kid he meets), and pepper (+ nat) was like her mom.

not until they started doing, what they do with y/n, now with felicia.

y/n didn't mind it at first, because having an unofficial sibling with her unofficial parents doesnt sound too bad. but when they began shutting her out for more time with felicia, that's where they've crossed the line.

then came peter.

this hurt the same, if not more, as tony and pepper.

they were joined at the hip. inseparable. until felicia came in the picture, and now peter looks at her the way he used to look at y/n. just like her unofficial parents, he began shutting her out.

then came nat, then steve, then clint, and the rest of the team.

sure, you'd say she's overreacting. but, she had a right to feel this way. especially if her own family is purposely ignoring her for the oh-so perfect and oh-so great felicia hardy.

they began praising her.

loving her like she'd been with them for years.

and y/n was an outsider in the very thing she called a family.

and after a while of that, she ran away. quit the avengers aswell. that was the day she finally snapped.

and its been 4 years since her disappearance.

turns out, someone had done this to get revenge on y/n. an old enemy of hers.

when they saw felicia joining the avengers, they took that opportunity and made the avengers love felicia and despise y/n inorder to just see the girl break from the inside out.

the avengers felt guilty. even though it wasnt their fault, it still felt like it is.

the team wasn't the same since y/n left. but they were forced to move on after 2 years, because they couldn't find a trace of y/n y/l/n anywhere.

the avengers had a mission, but they needed more people.

so, fury suggested that they get the most dangerous and powerful criminals to help them.

and that's how they ended up with amanda walker. and her telling them all about the most dangerous criminals in arkham prison.

amanda flipped to another file, "and last but not least, y/n quinn. the youngest, only 21, but very clever and skilled. there were even rumours that she used to be a shield agent," amanda explained, "known as [your villain name], but her real name is y/n y/l/n."

the avengers' eyes widened.

"but, she changed her name when harley quin illegally adopted her when she was 18." she kept explaining, making the team shocked.

their precious y/n, in the prison of the most dangerous criminals? how? it cant be..

"remember when i said the joker and harley quinn were like the king and queen of arkham city? well, y/n was the princess. if you messed with her, you'll brutally die at the hands of either of the three. she is careless, brave, only caring about harley and not herself. she took down a group of men, only with an unarmed assault rifle and in heels."

"uhm, m-ms. walker? is this her?" peter stuttered, showing a picture of y/n from a few years back.

"uh, yes. she looks a little younger, her hair is longer and doesn't have the blue and purple tips, but yes it is her." she looked at them, who were looking like they were gonna cry, "did you know her?"

"y-yeah. she used to be an avenger 4 years ago, but she ran away after an.. incident. we all thought she was dead.." tony said, still shocked at the fact that his unofficial daughter being a very dangerous criminal.

"let me tell you, what she used to be, she isnt now. she's extremely manipulative, so dont listen to any thing she says. cocky, arrogant, and sarcastic. dry, dark, depressing. a run away psycho, as some people said."

the team was stunned.

amanda tooka deep breath, "let's go see them now, shall we?"

when they arrived at arkham prison, they first met the others.

harley cackled, then looked at amanda straight in the eyes. "where's y/n? if ya have been hurtin' my daughter, i wont hesitate to kill all o' ya!" she said, a look of pure insanity and anger in her eyes, but then started to laugh again.

then, they got to y/n's cell.

when they walked in, some of their eyes widened and others' eyes teared up.

the girl was hanging from the bars. she had short black hair, with blue and purple tips. she still had her smudged eyeliner lining her eyes.

"get down from there, quinn. you have visitors."

y/n's eyes had a spark of amusement in her eyes once they were met with the avengers.

she dropped down from the bars, doing a backflip midway, and and approached them with a smirk on her face.

"aw, would ya look at that! the wittle avengers needin' help from criminals because they're outnumbered?" she mockingly pouted, then bursted into cackles "i cant with y'all. hi! y/n quinn, at yo' service."

"shut up, y/n. behave. or else we'll shock you again."

"yea yea, whatever." she scanned them, and her eyes were met with felicia's. "and look who it is! felicia fucking hardy. thank you, by the way" she smiled, to which the other girl looked at her in confusion.

"if the avengers didnt shut me out for you, then i wouldn't have ran away. if i didnt run away, then i wouldnt have met harley and not have an amazing mom! a better mom than pepper and natasha will ever be." she glared at the red head since pepper wasnt there. "so, thank you, really. hey, felicia, was it fun? y'kno, having all the avengers' attention and even stealing my bestfriend and unofficial parents!" she smiled, sickly sweet at them.

"right peter?" she turned her gaze to the brunette, "bet y'all are datin' now, huh? you look at her like she's your whole fucking world" she pouted at him, "must be nice."

at this point, y/n as leaning by the bars, her arms draped over them.

"y/n, look, we were controlled, okay? we never meant to isolate and ignore you. it was [some random villain name]'s fault and she made us turn on yo-" tony couldn't finish his explanation when y/n started laughing loudly.

"great plot, stark! maybe I'll use that for a wattpad book when i get outta this shithole, hm?" she looked at them, smirk never leaving her face. "gah, i cant believe i was ever once an avenger."

the team all stared at her sadly. is this what their y/n has become?

they were all brought to the airport to gear up. well, the criminals only. the avengers were already wearing their uniforms.

y/n changed in a yellow sports bra with purple and blue lining and 'babygirl' written on the middle, black fishnet shirt over it. her pants were split colored: blue on the right leg and purple on the right. she was also wearing red suspenders. her shoes were, again, blue and purple but with silver lining. her hair was in two french braids, her colored hair prominent.
