peter had a secret.

a quite embarrassing one, honestly.

he has a roleplay account in instagram.

the only person who knows is ned, which is the person who got him into roleplaying in the first place.

he's not really roleplaying in a specific fandom, but uses the actor tom holland as a model.

nicholas pete skywalker, he goes by as.

as normal roleplaying goes, he tries to find a girlfriend after his last one deactivated their account.

that's where he met her.

kaya blythe emmanuel, she goes by as.

they chatted almost everyday for a whole month, until he asked her to be his girlfriend.

everyone peter wasn't oblivious. they noticed his smiles are even bigger, he's always beaming whenever his phone lights up.

his phone.

he's on his phone more now.

it wouldn't be rare for a teenager like him to be like that, but peter's a person who's usually not on his phone alot.

ned knew, ofcourse, since peter would repost on his story everytime kaya posted. even his posts are filled of her.

this went on for about 8 months. he'd give her a 'goodmorning' text everytine he wakes up, and give her a 'goodnight' text before he goes to sleep. that's until peter told her something.

and thats how it went on for hours.

him asking kaya, no - y/n - questions and her doing the same aswell.

it wasnt uncommon for them to be texting this long, but it was different because he's talking to the owner of the account.

not kaya.

y/n.

and it feels more personal. for him, atleast.

but he actually already knew her more than he thought. most of kaya's backstory is inspired by her own life. contrast to peter who completely made a different backstory for nicholas. nick, she called him.

after that, they talked about anything and everything. from alien sightings, to why pineapple doesn't belong on pizza, to water being wet (and y/n disagreeing, with an insane amount of proof).

not long after, they started video chatting.

peter was selfconsious and shy at first, since it was the first time she saw him.

but it was also the first time he saw her.
and god, she was breathtaking.

her long curly [y/h/c] hair, her [y/e/c] eyes, one's he now dreamed of seeing in person.

but she lived in england. she was miles away, in another continent, while he's stuck in new york and cant do anything about it.

well, he could. but he knows aunt may and tony wouldn't let him, since it was so far away. he could get another adult to come with him, but he wanted to meet y/n all by himself.

and that's a thing they struggled at.

timezones.

sure, they werent that far away in terms of time. but with school, her having school too, and him being spiderman, makes it really hard to manage talking to each other for countless hours everyday.

about 3 and a half months pass by, and he asked her to be his girlfriend.

he was a little scared at first, since she told him she's never had a commited boyfriend and the only thing closest to a girlfriend he had was liz.

ut he was ecstatic, to say the least, when she said yes.

aunt may found out a few months before he asked y/n this. by "found out", peter told her. he already accidentally met y/n's brother and mom, so why not let his girlfr- no, friend, meet his only living relative?

when they met, through instagram video chat ofcourse, may saw why he was so infatuated with the girl. she has really depressing humour, laughs at almost anything, is ironically and jokingly dry. yet, still manages to be kind and polite.

she was actually who encouraged peter to ask y/n to be his in real life girlfriend.

and when she found out she said yes, she was as ecstatic, of not more, as peter.

ned was too, having known the girl because them three with one of y/n's rp ibf's having a groupchat. he was happy, knowing his bestfriend has found someone right for him.

mj found out too. because, well, she's mj.

she had known all along, (her being one of y/n's rp close friends. and yes, she has a roleplay account, but she'd never tell anyone that) so she teased him about "finaly getting the guts to ask her out".

when they asked her how she knew, she just answered with "i'm mj", smirked, and went back to her book like nothing happened.

but, all jokes aside, she really was happy for y/n, and peter aswell.

not much really changed between the two after that. they were already talking like a couple before, so it's no different now.

but, they did give each other their personal instagram accounts.

y/n started being more open to him, too. she was never really the person to let someone in deep like that (that's what she said), but for some reason, she let him in.

sure, she trusts easily. too easily. but she had layers. and she only let most people see the top layers of her.

but with peter, she let him in fully. telling him thoughts of hers she only kept to herself, built up anger and frustration with her life, and everything else.

and, gosh. how the hell is it possible that peter fell inlove even more?

because he definitely knew her now.
