We made it to the club and I was feeling buzzed already but the night was just starting and Jed kept his hand locked with mine adding to the electricity running through my body. It's like his touch is making my heart beat faster and faster.

He brings me closer to his chest. "Let's go get a drink", he says in my ear and his lips brush my ear sending shivers down my spine. I nod and we walk through the heavy crowd to the bar. I order more shots since that seems to do the trick for me.

Jed orders a bourbon instantly making me think back to Kai. He always drinks bourbon to make him feel anything. I shake my head trying to get him out of my mind. I'm here with Jed. Kai is gone. He lied to me. Betrayed my trust.

"You okay?", he says leaning in my ear. I give a soft smile and nod.

"There you go", the bartender slides us our drinks. He sips his drink but I down both my shots and he laughs at my action for some reason.

"Might want to slow down there", he laughs again. I shrug downing my last shot, then he downs his bourbon making me slightly laugh. My body feels so relaxed.

"Let's dance?", I smile wildly at the thought. My favorite song plays making me feel super excited. Hot in here.

Jed and I walk with step in our feet towards the dance floor and I feel so alive. "You know I like drunk Jayleen", he laughs as we dance our way. I laugh at his comment and we find a spot and I turn to face and and start to move my hips to grove of the song. For a guy he can really move. He holds my waist and I move along him in rhythm.

We dance for a while then I definitely need a drink. We make our way back to the bar slightly sweaty from our dancing. I love that our friendship isn't based on a relationship. We can have fun without any pressure of a real relationship. Like just now. I was dancing my heart out and I didn't feel pressured to grind my body against his to get a reaction. Yes I may have because I felt like it but it was just having fun.

We drink some more then I really feel the alcohol. "Jed", I hum and he holds my hand to steady myself. "I like you", I slur.

"I like you too Jayleen", he smirks. He didn't seem to drunk. Maybe on the verge but not totally.

I close my eyes for a moment and look at him and see happiness. His goofy grin. His perfect hair, his smile, he adorable smile. He has been the only positive thing in my life.

"Should we head back", he laughs. "You seem kinda out of it", I just nod accepting the night is done. I had an amazing night and I want to keep it this way. When the cab driver leaves I am barely able to walk feeling so numb. Eventually Jed just carry's me upstairs and I hold onto him tightly.

"You smell good", I hum playing with his hair. He laughs a thanks and when we end up in front of both our apartments I feel slightly sad. I don't want to leave him now. "I don't want you to leave", I pout crossing my arms. His eyes shift to my chest and I look down and see that my boobs are almost spilling from my tight dress.

"You wanna come in?", he asks. Maybe it isn't the best idea coming in when we're both pretty much drunk. But I agree anyways. We walk in and I hold onto his hand because I want too and the lights are off so I can't see. "Wanna drink", he smirks when he turns the kitchen light on.

"Yes please", I smile still holding his hand. He pours another shot for us in the glasses we used earlier. I laugh for no reason and Jed laughs probably because I'm laughing but I feel so happy I don't care if I look or sound stupid.
