Through the Lord we can come for salvation. There's no salvation outside of Jesus. Through His death, the temple veil was torn and now we can come solo before the throne of grace in prayer (no need for praying to Mary/saints). He is the Lord victorious! King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
Exodus 35-40
Observe the sabbath. There is a difference between tithing (10%) and an offering. The offering should always be done willingly. The Lord works on man's heart and does the calling. Women are able to be used for God's glory too. God gives talents as He sees fit to bring about His purpose and glory!
He gives good gifts, it is up to us, though, to be willing and obey. The people had to be restrained from giving more. Oh that we were so moved to contribute to the Lord and His work!
God loves beauty.
2 Peter 1
Jesus has given us exceeding great and precious promises, and they are as reliable now as ever, for God doesn't lie nor change! Through His blood He has given us salvation. He will try our faith to perfect us. It is not easy. Show forth the fruits of righteousness (John 15): virtue, knowledge, selfcontrol, patience, godliness, and love. Make your calling and election sure. If our lives are holy, hidden in Christ, we have His promise we will reign with Him! Edify and encourage a lifestyle of holiness before the Lord. Jesus is Truth. His Scriptures are Truth.
