2 Chronicles 1
Ask God for wisdom and discernment. Don't build your hope and happiness on temporal things, but rather, seek that which is above. The Lord searches our hearts to see our motives. Nothing is hidden from His sight.
2 Peter 2/3
Expect rampant deception. Many will follow and be blinded. Their punishment is sure. God is just, He isn't "lenient" over time. Cry to the Lord for deliverance! He will answer the godly's call. There are rewards for the godly and ungodly. Be not associated with those who would beguile unstable souls. Don't waver! With lies, lusts and vanities, temptations will ooze! Don't be entangled again in the yoke of bondage, else you suffer hell! It is returning as a dog to it's vomit.
Scoffers and mockers mock us. They joke of the judgment of the Lord as did they in Noah's day. They heard the warnings and laughed and shrugged. The world was then destroyed with water and now the earth is reserved for fire! The Lord's coming is sure. Judgment is sure. His timing isn't as ours for He isn't bound by time. He is everlasting, eternal, before time. His mercy waits for another sinner to repent. All is to be burnt up! Possessions! Ungodly! Be holy! In word and deed. In the Kingdom of the Lord all will be new. Righteousness abounding.
Be diligent. Make your calling and election sure. Be found holy, fit for His use. The Lord speaks through man, pray for wisdom to understand. keep alert. Watch against deception. Love the Truth. Grow in God.
