I just wanted Loki. I just wanted to be home. I didn't want this. I felt the energy spiking. It was building, and building fairly quickly. My eyes, which had been closed, slowly opened. The color was not my natural blue-grey. It was more like vibrant, glowing blue. Same color as the mist that wafted off my tattoos. I felt great in all except my stomach. I pushed that aside. I focused on getting out. My eyes shut so the healers couldn't see the color. I couldn't do much about the mist, and that caught the attention of people.

"She's spiking, we need to sedate her-" but the healer was cut off. Because most things in the room exploded. I detonated them. It was my escape. My eyes color was fading back to normal and the mist was receding. But I didn't have long. I pulled free of the restraints and I ran. I didn't care, anywhere but that room. I was dressed in a light and a bit airy, sea-green cotton dress. I was barefoot not that it mattered to me. I just kept running.

And then I crashed into a man with a muscular build. Thor. He grabbed my wrist. I tried to pull away, but I was drained and he was much much stronger. I struggled.

"Astrid, why are you running?" He asked calmly, like my struggling and holding me back was nothing. "I just want to get away. I-I want Loki!" I said firmly, trying to stop my voice from cracking. His large eyebrows knitted together. "Well....I guess I could bring you to see him...." He said. I sighed in relief. "Thank you Thor!" I exclaimed, throwing my arms around his neck and hugging him. He hugged me back and I soon let go.

"Follow me." He said. I nodded and followed. He lead me to a bed chamber a ways away from the infirmary. Once I walked in, Thor shut the door behind me. On the bed was a man who looked depressed; his hair was messy, pale skin, dark circles under his eyes, I could see he had been crying. And I knew it was Loki. Thor was gone, thank gods. You wanted to be alone with Loki, who didn't seem to notice you came in.

"Loki?" I whispered gently, slowly walking up to him. He slowly opened his eyes and looked up. It took a moment for him to realize it was you.

"My gods...Astrid...my darling Astrid..." He whispered, standing up. I stopped inches in front of him. Hid hand cautiously moved to my face, gently resting on my cheek. His usually cold hands felt warm as he stroked my cheek with his thumb. I leaned into his touch. He quickly pulled you in for a tight hug, as he started to cry. I hugged him back.

"Astrid...I though I had lost you...you were cold for so long..." He started. "Wait...Loki what do you mean by that?" I asked as I pressed my cheek into his chest, listening to his heart. "For 6 months you were cold and lifeless. The only sign of like was the mist and power drainage your body constantly caused." He sobbed. "You're still cold now too..." He said very quietly.

I pulled away abruptly. "What? Y-you mean I-I'm still....dead?!" I asked frantically. He shook his head. "No...you're not dead love, you skin is just...much colder than mine." He whispered. My lip trembled. I darted back into his arms. And I too started to cry. I gripped his loose green shirt tightly and he slowly sat us down on the bed, never letting go on me. He laid down and pulled me closer, like he didn't intend to let go. I didn't want him too. Because, I was scared and he was my comfort.
