I felt like I was going to collapse. My knees shook and before I could fall to the ground, Loki caught me and carried me to the couch. He held me in his lap and I gripped his shirt, pulling him close to me.

He buried his nose into my hair and it tickled a little. I couldn't help but giggle a little.

"Ticklish, are we?" He joked before pushing me down onto the couch and tickled me. I laughed, I couldn't stop myself.

"Okay stop..." I said breathlessly. My stomach ached from laughing so hard. He grinned and did not stop. I tried to push his hands away but, he was stronger than me. All that I could do was lay there and laugh.

A little while later he finally stopped. He sat back and smirked down at me. I looked up at him and smirked back.

"A few months ago you told me about this 'Sherlock' television show. You have shown me Doctor Who and Dowton Abbey. Now, show me Sherlock," he commanded jokingly. Having Netflix on my Wii Console, I put it on there. I sat back and he wrapped an arm around my shoulder.

We watched the first season. Loki apparently enjoyed this show almost as much as I did. We continued on to season 2. Around midnight, I fell asleep, my head resting in his lap while he stroked my hair.

I woke up a few hours later, in my bed. Loki must've moved me. I tried to sit up, but there was something on my leg. Someone, to be exact. I looked over and I saw Loki curled up on my leg. I smiled and laid back, glad that he was sleeping peacefully. He didn't know it, but I heard him sometimes calling out at night. It hurts me to see him sweat and shake and I feel useless.

He woke up and looked around before his eyes rested on me. I smiled weakly am he smirked back. He crawled over to me and planted a gently kiss on my lips and I smiled a little stronger.

He pulled away and sat up, looking me over.

~6 months later~

We hadn't heard from Thor in 6 months. I took that as a good thing. I had gotten stronger and in more control of my power. And now Loki and I were a couple. We were happy and things were going great.

But I knew there was something he wasn't telling me about the prophecy. We didn't talk about it, but when I tattoos burned he would get all worried but when they didn't burn he wasn't really concerned.

"Astrid, darling, do you want to go for a walk?" He called.

"Sure!" I replied. I liked walking with him, it was relaxing. He came and took my hand leading me out of the apartment building. We headed toward Central Park, where he first kissed me. I smiled at the thought. He saw me smiling and he smirked a little. The weather was nice, it was nearly summer.

We reached the spot where he kissed me about a year ago. I smiled at the memory. He saw me smiling and he smiled to, as if he was thinking the same thing. He might've been...I kind of hoped he was.

He turned to face me and pulled me close.

"Astrid...in this past year, although I just barged into your house and decided to live there, you reminded me what love is and I thank you." He whispered and leaned his forehead on to mine, our noses touching and our lips about 2 inches apart.

"Astrid Woods, I love you...and-and there is something that I would like to ask...." He said quietly. "Don't think I am rushing into this, I know what I want." He whispered before backing up a little and kneeling down.

"Astrid Woods, will you do me the honor of becoming my queen," he whispered and pulled a small box out if his pocket and opening it.

Tears formed in my eyes and I covered my mouth. I was at loss for words.

"Yes. Yes so as long as you are my king," I managed to get out. He grinned and slid the ring onto my finger. He then stood up and wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in for a kiss. I wrapped my around his neck and kissed him back. I could feel him grinning through the kiss.

Although I felt so comfortable with Loki, something felt a little off, like we were being watched again. He noticed to because he held me a little more protectively. He then pulled away and gripped my hands.

"Let's head home?" He asked. I smiled and nodded. I told him I would cook dinner tonight and he seemed to look forward to it, saying I should cook more often, I was good as it. He wrapped an arm around my waist and led me back home. We walked slowly, we were in no rush.

As we headed home, we were being followed, I could feel it.

"Loki...?" I asked.

"Yes darling?" He replied.

"We're being followed." I whispered. I turned around and searched the crowd. Loki did the same. A minute later, I saw a tall, muscular, blond man. Thor. Loki spotted him too because he cursed and started to pull me into the crowd and to home. But Thor still followed. I suddenly realized he must've been following us for a while. He must've been watching when Loki proposed.

"Shit..." I muttered. Sure Thor would find out someday, but I didn't expect him to watch it happen. I don't know, I just didn't like that he was watching.

"Loki!" Thor called, he was closer now. "Loki enough. You are going far. I refuse to let you marry the one of the prophecy." Thor said with authority.

"No. That is not a decision for you to make, I do what I want and I asked her and she agreed." Loki hissed. I hated the fact that they fought. I didn't know Thor, but I knew he was Loki's brother and I know brothers fight, but I wished it wouldn't be over this.

"Please stop," I whimpered. I was a little scared, from what Loki had said, Thor may force me to go to Asgard. Loki looked at me and saw the fear in my eyes.

"Thor! You're scaring her! Go away!" Loki growled as he held me protectively. Thor growled and looked like he would attack.

"Please." I pleaded. I gripped Loki's shirt because I didn't want to be moved away from him.

"But, brother what will happen next? You will get married and then get her pregnant? She knows what you are, or does she not?" Thor said. I knew what Loki was, he had shown me, he wanted to know if I would still accept him and of course I did. I nodded.

"She knows, but once she is pregnant, do you know what your offspring will be? Half Frost-giant. Half-human." Thor said.

"Well we know that he will look human. I'm a full Frost-giant but I look like a normal human." Loki spat. I could feel something cold creeping around his chest. Blue crept up his neck.

"Loki...calm down," I whispered stroking his neck. The blue slowly crept up and where I touched it, my skin tinted blue, but I needed to calm him down. He couldn't change here. Loki turned to look at me and before I could say anything, Loki grabbed my hand that touched his neck. The blue on him receded and I was glad, but my hand was freezing over.

"Astrid! Why did you...?" He whispered as he thought about some sort if magic to help. I started to shake, I felt so cold. And Thor, he was just standing there. I looked away from him and focused in Loki.

"You needed to calm down," I whispered shakily. Suddenly something sparked in his eyes. A memory maybe? He clasped my hands in between his and closed his eyes. His hands got warmer and warmer until they were almost burning. I winced but, the blue was disappearing. Once it was gone I sighed with relief and he pulled me in for a hug.

"Don't do that again until you know how to use your powers to heal yourself..." He whispered. Thor was gone. I sighed with relief because of that too.
