Loki's POV
I was extremely reluctant to seek Thor's help. My pride was in the way, as well as my distaste for my "brother."
But I knew I had to push my ego aside. I couldn't just go storming into earth carelessly demanding the return of mt wife. No no..I couldn't do that especially with the fact that I wasn't exactly on good terms with humans was hanging over my head.
Thor on the other hand...they favored him there too.
I briskly made my way back to the Asgardian Palace. I had no time to lose. Odin knows what they would do to her. On a more concerning note, what'd they'd do if they knew she was wed to me. That was a horrid thought. All my previous anger had dissipated to worry.
My brisk walk turned into sprinting as I bolted t the palace. Now, where to find that oaf of a brother..The first place I decided to check was the training there. As far as I knew, he spent much of his precious time there. My assumptions where proven correct because soon as I walked in there, there he was sparring with a trainee. It seemed he may have been trying to show of his skills as he had a small crowd of ladies watching and giggling like school girls. Typical. If I had been many years younger and single I would have been very jealous.
"Thor!" I called out, my voice urgent. He paused for only a brief moment before continuing to brawl.
"What is it, brother?" He called calmly as he jolted around throwing punches.
"I need to speak with you in private!" I snapped, I didn't have time for this! I needed to get to Astrid!
"It can wait, unless you'd rather just share." He stated nonchalantly. I was not at all keen to share my true emotions with any of these strangers. But I knew very well Thor was going to difficult.
"It's Astrid, your friends at SHIELD have taken her you idjit," I seethed, using a word I had been playfully called by Astrid once.
My words did succeed in catching his attention. He halted the fight and quickly walked over to me.
"They what?" he asked again, I could see the disbelief in his blue eyes. "They have her." I repeated. "And..." i started, "i need your help to get her back." I grumbled out.
"Youre asking me, for help?" Thor confirmed. My nostrils flared in annoyance. "Yes, I am. Don't flatter yourself or let it boost your ego, you're the one on friendly terms with the humans." I snapped. A grin spread across his lips and he pulled me into a tight embrace. I stiffened.
"ah, my little brother asking me for help.."
"shut up, let's just get this done." i muttered. He nodded and let me go. As i started to stalk away, he followed after me.
"we need a plan." I rolled my eyes at his comment. "No shit." I mumbled. What did he think we were going to do? Storm the place and demand to have her back? I'm quite certain that would only make matters worse.
"I'm going to need you to coax them into giving her back. Since I cannot go as myself, i'll be disguised as Sif." I explained as we walked. He nodded in response. I didn't want a make a plan that was too complicated for him to wrap his head around. Perhaps that was a little harsh but there was no room for confusion currently. We needed to get in and get this done.
"Are we to be entering in through the Bifrost or through a secret way of yours?"
"Bifrost." I answered blandly as we made our way to the Bifrost.
