I sit at the table aside Dargon as everyone looks to us, knowing what just went down.

"Well, you two look refreshed." Dixon comments before Julissa elbows him lightly. He looks to her with a sly grin, and then adds when he looks back to us, "Quite the sign that you two are together."

"What do you mean?" Dargon questions, "That she has my venom all over her and her venom on me?"

"Well, that yes, but also the fact you both have your colour on each other tongues." Dixon adds as I feel myself blush slightly.

"Well, we love each other." I say casually as Dargon's arm around me tightens, "And we're forever inseparable."

Everyone looks to me with a bit of a gawk, and Koray asks suspiciously, "But weren't you trying to kill Dargon before?"

"I did try once." I nod a bit sheepishly, "But we've resolved our conflicts and our pasts. We just have one problem."

"What's that?" Jandro questions and Dargon growls before I can respond, "Dang Clarissa Wrighte. She is Jerod's girlfriend."

"Isn't Jerod Amethyst's brother?" Koray asks as Dargon nods, and she scowls at me. She's makes to leap across the table to smash me in the face, but Dargon moves at the speed of lightening. He pushes my chair back and pulls me out of it before Koray's even out of her seat, and then grabs her by the neck.

"Do not even think about harming Amethyst." Dargon growls before releasing her, sending her back to Jandro. He pulls me back in front of him before sitting, pulling me onto his lap. I sit as far back into Dargon as possible as Koray glares daggers at me, and I work up the courage to snarl at her, "What is your problem? All I've done is try to help since I knew I couldn't leave here! Jandro is caring for you, and you have a fantastic family. I even love the people sitting around this table, except for Hunty who's a creep."

Koray shuts her mouth, and says as she hangs her head, "I'm sorry. My reaction is just to be angry because I don't know how to handle things."

"It's okay." I say as I take a breath in, "Some things are hard to manage, and I understand that I've been quite a change around here. And for any of you, if you want me to do something different, please let me know."

Everyone is silent once I quit talking. I tighten my abdomen and then say, "Sorry about that."

"No, no. Sometimes we need to clear the air." Dixon waves his hand before getting back on topic, "What do you want to do about Clarissa, Dargon?"

"I'd like to rip that crap wad's head from her shoulders." Dargon growls, "Absolutely obliterate her."

"Well, I have nothing against it." I find the words spilling from my mouth before I can think, and I find a sudden fire inside of me. How dare Clarissa hurt Dargon, the one I love. She should die painfully for it.

"Neither does anyone here." Dixon decides for everyone, "But we can't go in and kill her. She'll expect it and try to curse us all."

"So you're saying we need to warm up to her." I suggest as Dixon nods, and I hear Dargon groan before his head rests against my shoulder. It's only brief, and he whips his head up before asking a rhetorical question, "You want me to go specifically because she hates me the most?"

Dixon nods his head and says, "She wouldn't be able to give you the same curse because Amethyst is there for you. And I've read up on Hex's powers to find that they can only curse the same person once. So essentailly, you are Clarissa proof, Dargon."

"Great, now she'll go for Amethyst." Dargon growls, "I would rather die than see Amethyst get hurt."

I feel my love for Dargon go rocketing, and I let myself relax against him, putting my arms around his neck though I'm in front of him. He puts his arms around me and whispers so I can only hear, "I mean it."
