"Amethyst. Why are you following me?" Dagon growls as he walks into his room, and I follow timidly, not wanting him to go demonic on me again.

"Because I'm your slave for eternity until I die. What would you like me to do?" I question as he whirls around, his eyes like an inferno. I flinch inwardly but hold my ground, and I straighten up, looking him in the eyes.

"Are you trying to get me to kill you?" He scowls at me before he leans against the wall on my left, "I can't have you around me anymore. You'll do as I ask, but don't follow me around any longer. Go and talk to Huntly for all I care."

"I will do just that, Dagon." I nod my head and then go to get out of Dagon's room when he grabs my arm and hisses in my ear, "Never mind that. Stay away from all the males here. Since they won't kill you, they'll try to make our Clan bigger, if you know what I mean. Talk to Koray or Julissa instead, but watch out for Koray's attitude. She may be weak, but she has the sharpest tongue here."

"Alright." I nod as Dagon releases his grip on my arm, and I walk away thinking about what he said. How could the males here go from hating me to wanting to mate? It makes no sense in my mind.

"Where are you going?" Jario's voice makes my heart stop briefly, and I turn slowly.

On my left I see everyone except Dixon and Dagon at the huge table, and I halt in my tracks. They're all eating human arms or legs, except Jandro who is eating a raw shark fin.

I take a deep breath and then say, "Dagon doesn't want me around him anymore. He suggested I should come and talk."

"Well then, take a seat." Huntly waves his arm to Dixon's chair, which is to Julissa's right. I slowly walk over and ask before I sit down, "Do you think Dixon would mind if I sat in his chair?"

"No, he wouldn't mind. I'll sit in Dagon's seat." Dixon's voice comes from behind me, and I sit down as Dixon moves out from hiding and sits in his brother's seat. I sit on the edge of my chair, almost afraid to meet the gazes of the seven Slytherins.

"So, Amethyst, how do you feel now that you've killed someone?" Huntly's snide remark makes me lift my head, and I look right back at him, my gaze never wavering.

"I never wanted to kill anyone, and you know I didn't have a choice." I reply before sitting further back in my seat, straightening up.

"You seemed pretty eager to hurt that girl though." Huntly chomps off a piece of the human's leg he's devouring, and I swallow to keep the bile down.

"I had my personal and stupid reasons." I remark before asking while looking to Koray, "When are you due?"

"Do I look fat enough to be pregnant?" Koray growls at me before Julissa barks, "Watch your tongue, Koray. She was told about you, she's not just blindly assuming."

"So you're standing up for the weakling now, Julissa?" Koray's eyes throw fire as Julissa glares back and replies, "You're weaker than her for trying to hurt her. She's going to be here forever until she dies, and you'll just make her kill herself before she can actually become one of our friends."

"Friends? That's what you think she is to us?" Huntly's eyes practically bulge out of his head as Koray nods  at him, right before Julissa barks, "She's better than both of you! She at least still has her sanity and-"

"Settle down, everyone." Jario growls as Julissa shuts her mouth but still glowers at Koray, "Dagon will have your heads if he has to deal with more things, and that is the last thing we need."

"Well said, Jario." Dixon dips his head slightly at Jario who sits across from me, "And he is right. Dagon almost lost his cool this morning, and he needs some space."
