I burst out from the water behind Dagon, water spraying across the entrance of Clan Prodigious. Dagon's huge wings shake off the water and then tuck in behind his back, his wings making the lines of a M. He twists his head to look at me with his dusty gold eyes and says with a low growl, "Go get Dixon and bring him to my room. I'm grabbing Huntly."
"Sounds good." I nod my head before Dagon marches into the place, and I follow, but turn to the left and aim for Dixon's room. I knock on the door, but get no response. I slowly push it open, and then gasp as I see Huntly standing over Dixon. The leader of the Clan is laying on the ground, his wings trying to cover him, but Huntly pulls them back right before slamming his foot into Dixon's rib cage.
"Huntly! Heaven's above!" I shout before he whips around, his face a relaxed and impassive slate. I almost gasp at how calm and collected he is, but I don't have time before he leans down to punch Dixon's face into the cave floor. Dagon's brother goes out like a light, blood coming from his nose and a bruise forming on his cheek.
Huntly turns to me and growls, "Well, well. You're back already."
"Couldn't stay away." I reply angrily as I hear Julissa's soft crying, and I spot her laying beside Dixon. Her face is undamaged, but her left wing is bent, and I know it's broken.
Huntly doesn't reply before grabbing my throat and forcing me against the wall. He looks into my eyes with lust clouding his irises, and he mumbles as his tongue flicks out, "You and me are alone now. Do you know how long I've been waiting for this?"
"Too long, because you're not going to get the chance again." I grate out through my windpipe before he raises his fist, his talons curled in and strikes me in the jaw. My head snaps backwards and hits the cave wall as I groan slightly. I feel like I've just been hit in the head with a one hundred pound bag of flour.
"It's not too nice to be hit, is it? So, I'll say this once more." Huntly says as he traces circles on my collarbones with his claws, "You are mine."
"I don't think so." I growl before pulling my legs up to my chest and then forcing them out, smashing Huntly in the chest. He flies backwards into Dixon's bed post, his back cracking. I sag against the wall and take a full breath in, watching Huntly as he shakes his head. I smirk at seeing him try to shake the cobwebs from his mind, and he looks up to me, a dazed glaze in his eyes.
"You're only making this better for me." Huntly takes a deep breath in, "I like Slytherins that give up a fight."
He lunges at me, his foot coming out to pin me to the wall. His foot crushes my sternum as an aching pain comes from it, and I swallow hard. Huntly leans forwards as the pressure increases and he's about to say something when Dixon's door slams against the wall. Dagon's huge figure comes strolling into the room, and he freezes when he looks down at his brother. He slowly turns his head as Huntly's jaw drops slightly, and I take the opportunity to bring my fist down on his knee, smashing it backwards. He lets out a yelp of pain, but he's cut short when Dagon grabs him by the neck, squeezing so hard that I can't hear a noise from Huntly.
"You tried to take over the Clan." Dagon spits, his eyes taking on a dangerous color. They turn the color of the darkest nights, the pure black swallowing his dusty gold irises. Dagon pushes Huntly up against the wall as I move over to Julissa and Dixon, looking down at the couple. I put my fingers under Dixon's jaw to feel a pulse still, and by Julissa's soft crying, I know she's alive.
I'm about to ask her what I can do, when I hear a solid crack, and I twist my head to see Dagon snapping Huntly's talons. Dagon's face is a mask of fury as he has his wing holding one of Huntly's hands to the wall, and with the other, Dagon holds in a vice grip. He holds Huntly's hand as he breaks the talons backwards, splintering them to pieces. Dagon must be having a hard time breaking them even with his strength, because his neck vein is inflated and a vibrant green.
