The water flows down the lake, as the sun blinds the sky.
Liana, Dean and Jack are currently fishing.
Well, Jack and Dean are.
Jack's bright idea.
Liana is on a rock, as she sits back resting on her hands.
Liana closes her eyes, sun hitting her skin.
Liana is just listening to the water, trickle down.
Enjoying the peace and quiet around her.
Something she has not experienced in a long time.
Dean and Jack both on rocks, either side of Liana.
They both have fishing reels, going into the lake, with bait attached to the end of them.
To lure the fish.
"Well, bait and beer. You are a cheap date. This certainly isn't Tahiti"
"I think it's cute Dean."
"Oh, of course you would"
"Dean just think, Listening to the water, the birds. While the sun is hitting your skin. Just the calmness. It's relaxing. Feels good don't you think?"
Liana opens an eye, as she glances over at Dean.
Dean rolls his eyes, at Liana's words.
Dean choosing not to respond.
Liana smiles as she closes her eye again.
"You once told me, you and your father did the exact same thing."
Jack glances over at Dean.
"It was your happiest memory of him"
"I didn't say that"
"It was how you said it. I could tell."
Dean doesn't respond to Jack, just looks at him.
"I guess my point is that....If I don't make it..."
Liana's eyes open, as she turns her head to Jack.
The smile that was once on her face, fading.
"The stuff I'd miss-- It wouldn't be things like Tahiti. Or the Taj Mahal. I' miss more time with you. And you. I'm getting that life isn't all these big, amazing moments. It's time together that matters. Like this"
Jack then turns to Dean, then to Liana, smiling at both of them.
"Well, who'd of thought hanging out with me would make you sentimental?(chuckles)"
Dean then takes a swig of his beer.
Liana smiles more at Jack, as he smiles at her.
"I've had a good life, guys"
"You have, and it is only beginning. It's not over yet"
Jack smiles more at Liana's optimism.
"How about we go a walk?"
"A walk, really? Where?
"Yeah, a walk. In that forrest over there"
Jack points to the forest by them.
Liana looks over to the forest as she thinks over, his proposal.
Jack rises to his feet, holding a hand for Liana.
Liana turns to Jack.
Liana smiles, as she takes his hand.
Jack pulls her up to her feet.
