Liana walks in on Sam in the library going through a mountain of books.
"Hello nerd what you looking for?"
Liana sits opposite Sam as he looks up smiling partly at his sister.
"Going through this, trying to find a way to help Dean with the whole Micheal situation. I have actually just started, care to help out?"
"Hmm.. let me think. Help my brother out by starting my day with research or go back to what I was doing with Jack. I think we both know what my answer is"
Sam smiles lightly at his sister.
"How are things (clears throat) with Jack?"
"How's your research?"
Sam arches an eyebrow.
"Good"
"Just good?"
"Sam I don't really want to tell my brother about my personal life"
"It's not much of a personal life."
"Now that was harsh. What about you? I don't see any women in your life. Or have you flipped a switch"
Sam gives Liana a look.
"I have not flipped a switch Liana. It just hard to find someone, in this life. Plus I don't have time between Micheal and monsters. There really isn't any time for someone"
"I know but sometimes that someone comes when you least expect it"
Sam nods.
"I'm glad you're happy. You deserve it. Especially with everything that has been going on"
"Thanks Sam"
Sam smiles weakly at how optimistic Liana is being.
A trait she hasn't shown since... well in years.
He knew the source of this characteristic and he couldn't help but smile more.
"Enjoy it while it lasts"
Liana rolls her eyes.
"You really think Dean—"
"No. Just from experience. It never works out. Call it the Winchester luck"
"Hey"
Dean then walks up the steps towards Liana and Sam.
The pair turn to Dean.
Their conversation dropped.
The air going eerily silent, as they see he has a duffle bag hung over one shoulder.
"Hey"
Liana just waves at Dean who nods at her.
"How you feeling?"
"What you reading?"
Dean motions to the book open in front of Sam.
"Uh, going back through the Book of Jubilees. You know the way they classify angels is— —is — —it's really interesting"
"Find anything on Micheal?"
"Not yet— —but I — —but I just started. Liana was just about to join me"
