36) the jocks, the lover, the gay, and the crazy teen girls

What y'all think of the plan?? 

Monday morning: 

"Did you email it?" I asked Luca once I opened the door. He texted me last night, he was going to drive me to school. "Good morning," he said and I gave him a kiss on the cheek. Of course, I had to stand on my toes because he's tall. Or I'm just short. 

"Yeah, I did," he murmurs just as my mom came out. 

"So, is this a thing now?" she said, with a smile. 

"A lot happened, and yes," Addalyn answered for us. "Ok, well I... ship it," my mom says, pleased she knew some teenage slang. "Thanks, mom, we have to go," I say and hug her goodbye. "Eli's picking me up in a few," Addalyn said once Luca asked her if she wanted to ride with us. 

"We're all meeting up right?" Addalyn asked me. She meant everyone who was involved in getting back at David operation. "Yeah," I say and I leave with Luca.

"Woah, everyone calm down," I say once everyone comes up to Luca and I. "So-" Ethan started but cut himself off. "Wicked bitch coming up to us," Ethan grumbled. 

"Hey, Luca. I had so much fun Saturday night," Aubrey said and tried to touch Luca but he pulled away. "You guys weren't even together Saturday," Addalyn scoffed. "How would you know?" Aubrey challenged her. "I was with Luca. We're together," I grab Luca's arm and he leaned down and kissed my forehead. 

"You went that low, huh?" Aubrey huffed and walked away. 

"So, this is a thing? I'm all up for it," Ethan clarified. "Yeah," I said, sheepishly. 

"Let's get to homeroom," Rylan said before anyone could say anything.

"I'll get it," Mrs. Hamm said once the phone rang in ELA. Ember and I exchanged looks. "David, principal's office right now," Mrs. Hamm said to David and he looked confused. 

I'm guessing Mrs. Hoskins didn't tell her why David was called because she just went back to humming her song. A few of the students started whispering and trading looks. 

Ember and I exchange another look of surprise. 

"Attention students," Mrs. Hoskins's voice interrupted our class- well all classes- she was addressing the whole class. "We will have an assembly after lunch and you will miss fourth period," she added. "Only for the juniors and seniors. We'll have a separate one for the freshmen and sophomores," she said after a few seconds. 

The whole class cheered once she signed off. 

"Do you know what it's going to be about?" Helen, a blonde, asked. "No, we'll see," Mrs. Hamm responded and settled us down.

"There are rumors saying it's about David," Rylan told us at lunch. We were all eating outside because it was a nice day and the juniors and seniors were allowed. "I hope. What if he gets expelled in front of the whole school?" Ember asked incredulously. We all laughed. 

"Well, lunch is over soon, let's go grab seats together," I say putting my phone away. I was texting Fred the whole time and I was sure Luca was trying to get my attention. 

Fred and I are good friends but I think we're better off as friends. As for Jacob, we haven't texted since our last date. I decided not to text him since Luca and I are pretty close now. 

I don't know at this point.

"Settle down," Mrs. Hoskins says once all the juniors and seniors came in the gym. We all became silent after that, mostly because we were all so curious. 

"As you know, selling drugs has become a serious issue at this school," Mrs. Hoskins says. Luca, Ember, Addalyn, Eli, Rylan, Ethan, and I exchange looks.

"At least some of you guys were selling legal drugs," Mrs. Hoskins sighed and continued. "A lot of you know David Sanders was called to my office this morning. Someone sent me a video of him selling illegal drugs," she said. 

The whole room gasped- including some teachers.

"I'm not asking who sent me the video. I'm just asking you, not to do this kind of stuff. It is terrible for your future," she said. 

"What happened to David?" one of the football players, George asked. "He is suspended for quite a while," Mrs. Hoskins addressed. 

Not gonna lie but it was savage of her to just tell us straight up who it was and their punishment.

I admire her for it.

"Well, that's what he got for messing with us," Eli smirked. The rest of the assembly was a lecture on what would happen if we did this stuff and got caught. Mrs. Hoskins also went on about how our futures could get screwed up. Of course, she didn't say "screwed up" she used some long words.  

"That's what he gets for messing with the jocks, the lover, the gay, and the crazy teen girls," Ethan said. 

We all cracked up. 

"Who's the lover?" Addalyn asked. "You," Eli chuckled and pulled her in for a hug. 

"Aww, ok now gross. Wait till your in a fucking room," I wrinkled my nose. "I'm guessing she's the crazy teen girl alone with Ember?" Luca smirked and Ethan nodded. 

Luca pulled me in for a hug but I didn't pull away. "Huh? You're not pulling away?" he whispered. 

"I don't feel like," I whispered back and we just hugged for a few seconds until Ethan cleared his throat and we all left to go to our last class of the day.
