It's a great, big world out there.
We've all something we are scared of.
Ain't it tough?
This indeed can be fun,
When you aren't busy and on the run
From another bluff.
We can go live out our dreams,
But it ain't really all it seems to be
As we're dancing underneath the cuffs.
Oh, you tell me I've got sunsets in my eyes.
Well, it's a great, big fireplace to burn out my lies.
You want to fly around the world,
But you are just a little girl
It ain't so easy after all.
How can I look up and stare?
Into the moon when dark nightmares
Fill my eyes,
And how do I block out
The bright, endless sky?
Oh, what's the use of all of us,
If we can't even trust
And we make a big old fuss
About how far down we will fall.
I've found sunsets in your eyes.
