Once upon a silver letter,
Take me to a timeless September.
Who could have found anything better,
Than the fairytale games we played?
Words and intent glistens off the soft page.
Just the two of us behind the stage,
And still this moment so we never age.
Heart tangled in those whispers we've made.
I say I'm reading in between the lines,
Trying to find a sign,
Of who's gone ahead and captured that peculiar mind of mine.
But I think the both of us know,
As artless glances turn to stares,
Worlds apart but nearly right there
Oh, I could just reach out and brush away that stubborn lock of your hair.
You've utterly bewitched me mind and soul.
Let's write this new chapter on an empty scroll,
As we find ourselves separate but growing whole
I'll step into this new journey with you once upon a silver letter.
