i walked and walked and walked.

i was tired but it seemed like walking beside the river eased my exhaustion.

the sun was already setting and summer was already ending. the breeze no longer felt warm as the cool autumn breeze started to take in. the leaves were slowly changing it's color, from green to orange.

it has been weeks since the last time i've seen shine. and every single day that passes by, becomes more tiring. i have been training nonstop.

" i expected more from you. but why do i only get disappointment from you? "

" it's a shame that you got in easily while the others had to go through a series of auditions just to pass in. "

" do more and we might not regret letting you pass. "

i sat down on the bench as i watched how the sun settled in between these two buildings and how its rays beamed at the river's waters.

i let out a deep sigh.

" haechan "

i turned around to see whoever called me. and there she was.

she was wearing a pair of ripped jeans, worn-out red converse, white tank top and red checkered flannel. she looked so simple yet she was the most elegant in my eyes.

" hey--

i abruptly stood and wrapped my arms around her.

i felt energy surging in. i closed my eyes as i dropped my chin on her shoulders.

" i missed you. "
