"Congratulations Millie. You made us so proud"

My Mommy and Daddy greeted me and hugged me. Today is our graduation day. They always said time flies when you are happy. Hindi ako naniniwala dati roon, pero ngayong naexperience ko ay totoo nga.

My 10 months in school was a roller coaster experience. Akala ko dati ay magtatapos ako kasama lamang ang tatlong kaibigan. Pero look what destiny did to me. He gave me Maddox and I'll forever thankful for that. Hindi nya ako iniwan sa tuwing nag oovertime sa dami ng paper works. We study together and bond at the same time. He remained patient with me kahit minsan ay nababaliwala ko siya. Most of the time, I forget our monthsarry pati na rin mag-update sa kanya sa mga ginagawa ko.

"I'm sorry, I finished my article for our publication paper last night. Mr. Eric called for an emergency meeting too. Kaya hindi na ako nakatawag," malungkot kong sabi.

We were at his coffee shop. Tahimik lamang itong nakatingin sa inumin nito.

"I understand. I got busy with some of my requirements too. Sa isang araw ay baka hindi kita maihatid sa inyo"

"Okay lang. Manong Roy is here to fetch me.."

He didn't say anything after that. He remained quiet and drink his ice coffee.

"Got a problem, love?" kinuha ko ang kamay nitong nakapatong sa table.

"I passed the exam in Philsca."

"Well that's great. Malapit lamang iyon sa España. Magkikita pa rin naman tayo"

Ngumuso ito. He looked at me again and put his hand on my head.

"I heard Seth is in UST too. Premed din daw ang course. "

"Really? Well, malaki ang UST kaya baka hindi rin naman kami magkita. "

"Why? You want to see his asshole face?" naiinis nitong sabi.

"Your words Maddox! Of course not, isa pa, san mo ba narinig yang balita na yan. "

"Tss." he said ignoring my question.

"Are you jealous again? My god, Maddox. The school year isn't started yet pero ito ka at gumagawa na ng issue sa utak mo. Don't you trust me?"

Pumungay ang mata nito at agad umiling. I like him being jealous pero minsan ay kinokontrol ko din. Jealousy is bad if you don't handle it right. Maraming nasisirang relasyon dahil dito. I admit, nagseselos din ako sa mga babaeng nagiging malapit sa kanya. The worst of it was his birthday celebration.

"Happy Birthday Dear Caden. Happy Birthday to you."

Everyone clapped when he blows the candle. Maraming lumapit na bisita para batiin siya. My three friends and I are just watching him. His sister Sab called me, agad akong pinapunta roon. Pero bago pa ako makalapit ay nandun na agad si Janine. She greeted him. He even kissed him and hugged him. Nakita ko kung paano nawala sa mood si Maddox at kaagad ding bumitaw. He searched for my eyes in the crowd, nang makita ako ay agad lumapit sa akin. Some eyes followed him.
