"Thats all for today. Bukas practice na tayo ng combo plays" Coach Ramil said as we wrapped up our training for today. Its January already and we're training for SEA games.
"Beeeeeei, shower nako ha" tawag sakin ni Kianna. I nodded and went back to fixing my things. Tyang Aby was right beside me when Ara approached her
"Tyaaaaang, tulong naman oh" I heard Ara pleading to ate Aby.
"Wag mo kasi iwasan! Kaloka kayo" Sermon ni Ate Aby. Not that im listening to their conversation ha, but it looks like Ara was asking for help about Mika
"Galit ata sakin eh. Pano nalang kung maweirdan? Anla ewan ko na!" Ara said. Kasi naman, ayaw pa umamin ni Ara. Its really obvious pero she keeps denying. Tapos ngayon iniiwasan.
"Dito ka kay Beadel magpatulong" Sabi ni Tyang Aby. Hala nadamay pako?
"Just admit that you like her, noh. Ilang years na kayong nagtataguan" I said. Mukhang nagulat naman si Ara
"What? Halata kaya!" I said. Napakamot nalang sya sa ulo
"Sabi ko sayo eh!" Ate Aby said habang binatukan naman si Ara.
"h-hoy hindi kaya! Gusto ko lang ibalik friendship namin!" Tanggi pa ni Ara. Napailing nalang ako. Indenial pa!
"Nagpapatintero naman ata kayo eh! Its obvious that you like her! Indenial ka lang, Galang" Sabi ko. Napapalakpak naman si Tyang
"Tumpak! Umamin ka na nga! Baka mamaya ihahagis nalang kita kay yeye" Tyang Aby said. Bigla namang napadaan si Mika.
"Sinong ihahagis sakin?" Biglang singit ni Mika. Napaatras nalang si Ara.
"Sabi ni-" iimik na sana si Tyang ng biglang sumingit si Ara
"Ah wala yon." Sabi ni Ara.
"So ngayon, kinakausap mo nako?" Mika chuckled and left. Napahawak nalang sa noo si Ara.
"Umamin ka na nga kase! Naloloka nako sa lovestory nyo!" Sabi ni Tyang
"May pupuntahan kaming event mamaya. Its a fundraiser for pets in shelters. Mika loves dogs diba? I'll invite her. You have to come and umamin" I said and grabbed my bag. Napatulala nalang si Ara don.

"Baby, Im getting selos na" I said while driving our way to the event. The whole car ride, Kianna was talking to Keon, giving him hugs and kisses, treating him like a baby. That should be me ha
"Oh you want to be in a leash too? Pwede naman" Kianna joked. I ended up rolling my eyes and focused on the road.
"You know, di ka dapat magselos. This is basically our child. Love ko kayo" Kianna said. Teka lang nabigla ako don ah. It never really sunk into me that this is like a fam na! Omg
"Unless..... you dont want-" Kianna continued but I stopped her
"IwouldLoveToHaveAFamilyWithYou" I said instantly like a rap. And before I could even process what I was saying, it already slipped out of my mouth
"Konti nalang talaga iisipin ko magpropropose ka na ha" biro ni Kianna. I felt like I was blushing kaya I tried facing the other way
"Uy namumula yan" Kianna teased me. I bit my lip to stop myself from smiling.
"We're here" I said like I was out of breathe. I was busy trying to stop myself from kissing her, ok???
"Bei, tara na-" I shut her off with a kiss, DI KO NA MAPIGILAN
"God I was stopping that" I whispered and we both chuckled.
"Love, matatangay ka nya!" We heard ate Ly yell as soon as we reached the event. Ate Den was with Denly kase. And he is REALLY big na.
"Im ok!" Ate Den yelled back while struggling to pull Denly.
"Who's here na?" I asked ate Ly
"Uhm theres Tyang, Dawn, Ara, Mika, Jia" ate Ly said while looking at the guest list
"Deanna, Jema,Ced aaaaand Kyle also" she said.
"Baby, look at those puppies oh!" Turo ni Kianna sa play pens na nasa isang tent
"They're for adoption" sabi ni ate Ly. Naglulundag naman si Kianna
"Dun muna ako! Dawn and Tyang are there" Kianna said excitedly at pumunta na dun. Napailing nalang ako. I know where this is gonna end
"Mukhang maguuwi ka ulit ng dog" natatawang sabi ni ate Ly.
"Ikaw din ha! As if papayag si ate Den na umuwing walang puppy" I said. Napatitig nalang si ate Ly at napafacepalm. Ha! Kala mo ako lang ha
"Uy look at that" sabi ni ate Ly habang may tinuturo sa likod ko, I turned around and saw Ara giving Mika a bouquet of flowers. Finally!
"Thank God they finally confessed" ate Ly said. See? Its really obvious! Even ate Ly na kay ate Den lang nakafocus, napansin nya!
"Match made" I said and grinned. I was probably one of the reasons why Ara finally stood up and accepted the fact that she's inlove with her bestfriend
"Ikaw may pakana, noh" ate Ly asked. I just looked at her and smiled.

The event was fun and they managed to reach Php500,000 to help save animals from shelters, streets, forests. They have alot of activities and it was like a festival na din. There was a dog show, Cat fashion show, and games. Almost half of the national team is here din.
"Before you ask, no im not allowing you for another puppy" inunahan ko na si Kianna na kakalapit lang sakin with Keon. I already know what she's gonna say eh
"Smart move" Jia commented. We're here sa food tent eating pizza.
"How about a cat?" Kianna asked. Are you even kidding me??
"Even smarter move" Dawn said while eating some fries. I was about to disagree with Kianna but she pulled off her puppy eyes
"Pulling the puppy eyes to get a cat?" I asked obviously disagreeing with the idea of a cat.
"Ooor you could name a dog, cat" Jia said
"Trust me, it almost happened before" I said glancing at Keon.
"Kianna looks like she knows her animals" biro ni Mika.
"We're getting a cat ha" Kianna insisted. Hay nako I could never say no eh
"Keon, you promise me to kill the cat on the first few months ha" I said. Natawa nalang yung mga nasa table namin
"Harsh mo naman!" Kianna said and lightly slapped my hand
"Thats I yes" I said and Kianna started celebrating.
"Only because I love you" I added. She leaned closer to me and gave me a quick peck before going to the cat tent
"I love you, Bei!" She yelled as she made her way to the tent
"Cant say no ba?" Ara joked
"Ikaw nga cant say 'I like you, Mika' " I quoted her. Nasamid naman sa tubig si Mika. Ha! Nakabawi ako sayo Galang.
"Wala namang nabuking" sabi ni Tyang habang nagpipigil ng tawa
"News flash: Galang nabuking na" Dawn said. Sinamaan naman kami ng tingin ni Ara kaya mas lalo kaming natawa

We were driving home with Kianna having the new cat on her lap and Keon having his own bed at the back seat
"You got replaced already. That rough,buddy" I talked to Keon. Natawa nalang si Kianna
"Just promise me that you wont eat Brie" Kianna talked to Keon too
"No promises, mommy" I said mimicking Keon
"Dont listen to Baba, she's evil" Kianna chuckled
"Hey, im good kaya!" I said
"A good demon" She jokes and I just rolled my eyes.
"You can learn a thing or two from your baba about evil" I said causing Kianna to chuckle.
