"An ascendant? I've read about those." Bonnie says stepping closer to Damon and I.

"Yes. An ascendant. We have to do a certain spell to get out of here. All we need is this ascendant, Bennett blood, and a special event." Kai explains.

"Special event?" Damon questions.

"The eclipse that happens every day here. We'll need to do the spell around noon directly under the eclipse. I'll need either Bonnie or Elle's blood." He explains in further detail.

"Noelle. You can call me Noelle. Only family and friends get to call me Elle." I correct, walking towards the kitchen.

"We can go tomorrow. I know a place." Bonnie speaks up.

"Where are we going to put him?" Damon nods to Kai.

"He can sleep on the couch, I guess." Bonnie replies.

"Oh, one more thing. I'm not a fragile human. I'm a siphoner." Kai smiles. I look at him confused.

He gets up and grabs Bonnie. She struggles to get out of his arms, but you can see a red glow where he's holding on to her.

After a few seconds, he lets go. And Bonnie collapses to the ground.

"It means I siphon power from supernatural things or things with power, basically I'm a deformed witch." He explains while I run to Bonnie.

"What is wrong with you?" I ask with a disgusted look lingering on my face.

"Not a lot, surprisingly. But, I should tell you that I have been siphoning magic from you at night. It's just so hard to resist the urge to spoon you. You're just way too cute when you're sleeping." He says with a smirk. I look at him in even more disgust.

Damon runs to Kai and tries to kill him. But Kai says motus and Damon goes flying across the room, crashing into a table.

"I'll be back tomorrow. Hate to break it to you, but I don't want to have a sleepover tonight." Kai says before going out the door.

The next morning, Bonnie has all of her magic back, and we're having cereal for breakfast. We wanted to get ready to leave so we decided to not have the classic vampire pancakes.

"Do you even think Kai will even show up?" I ask Bonnie.

"I think so, I talked to him earlier." We hear Kai himself say in third person.

"Well, well, if it isn't the little sociopath." Damon says.

"That's me." Kai answers.

We talked more about where the place we needed to go was and then we got in the car. This time, though, Kai sat in the backseat with me.

Last night, me, Bonnie, and Damon had planned to leave Kai here somehow. So, that's what we were going to do.

Kai looked over to me, seeming as if he was trying to figure me out.

"You have really pretty eyes." He whispers.

"Saying that doesn't stop you from being a sociopath, and it doesn't change how I feel about you." I reply, looking out the window.

"You know, I actually want to be good. I actually miss my family." He reminisces, and I turn around.

Then he laughs, and I push him.

"You thought I was serious?" He questions. "That's hilarious."

"Ass." I mutter.

We finally arrive to where we need to be right on time. It's a hole in the ground that sits right under where the eclipse will happen in 5 minutes. Me, Bonnie, and Damon exchange our secret plan looks and jump in the hole. Kai is already in there, jumping with excitement to get out.
