We got home, and I was just so excited to have Kai with me. To have him hold me and kiss me. I just had one thing to ask him.

I unlock our apartment door, shutting it and locking it behind us.

"Kai?" I ask. He turns towards me. He pulls me towards him and puts his hands on my waist.

"Yes, baby?" He asks, giving me a quick kiss on my lips and making me smile.

"I wanted to know why it made you jealous. Having Brandon near me, I mean. He's your brother, why would you be jealous?" I ask. Kai lifts a hand to push my hair back, and he puts his hand on the side of my neck.

"He was touching you in ways that only I have touched you. Whenever he was near you, all I could think of was getting him away from you, and I just couldn't stand seeing him on top of you like that." He replies. He looks down.

"I know it's crazy and selfish, but I just want you to be mine." He whispers. I put my hands on his chest.

"It's not crazy, Kai. You are the only one who gets to touch me like that. I only want you." I whisper back. He pulls me closer to his body.

"Good." He states while smirking.

He starts kissing me again and grabs the sides of my face almost as if he can't get close enough. He lifts me up, so I can wrap my legs around his waist. He carries me to our table and sets me down on the edge. He starts to push me down, but I stop him.

"I still need to talk about one more thing." I state. Kai pouts.

"Please make this quick." He whines, placing a hand on my thigh. I nod.

"When I thought you were dead, I wanted to have anything that reminded me of you. I wore your clothes, and I even wore some of your rings. One day, I was going through your closet, and I found something." I state.

"Oh no. Did you find my porn magazines?" Kai asks with a fake shocked look on his face. He laughs when I push him.

"I'm serious, Kai." I respond.

"You're hot when you're serious. Granted, you're hot all the time." He smirks. I glare at him.

"I found a ring." I whisper. He whips his head towards mine. That caught his attention.

"And I kind of wish I hadn't so that whatever you were going to do with it would be a surprise, but I just wanted to wear your shirt and I found it, and I'm sorry." I whisper.

"Hey," Kai responds. "It's not your fault I can't hide things for shit. Stay here."

He walks towards our bedroom and comes back in a few minutes with the velvety box. Kai steps in front of me.

"I wanted to do this in a more romantic setting. Like at dinner or at a picnic in the sunset, but I technically died so that ruined a few things," He states. "I love your laugh. I love so many things about you. Your smile, your eyes, you. I love everything about you, and I just want you. I know this is all of a sudden, but I just have to ask you one thing."

He opens the box, looking up at me.

"Will you marry me?" He asks.

I already know the answer. I've known the answer for the longest time. I don't need time to think about it.

"Yes." I whisper.

Kai smiles and tackles me, pushing me on the table and hugging me while giving me neck kisses. My arms are wrapped around his neck.

He brings his face right above mine. He kisses me, and I kiss him back.

"I'm glad you said yes." Kai admits.
