Izuku's Hidden Quirk

Chapter 2

I DONT OWN MY HERO ACADEMIA OR ITS CHARACTERS SO DONT SUE ME OR ANYTHING

All Might's P.O.V

I can tell that the kid isn't happy with me leaving but I am nearing my limit. I put the villain into my pocket and jump off into the city towards the police station. As I glide through the air, I can feel that something isn't right and my leg feels heavier than usual. I look down and see the kid I just saved hanging onto my leg.

I say to him, "Young Man, what are you doing there? Stop holding on to me!" I try to push him off but he won't let go.

"If I let go, I'll die!" He barely manages to say in the wind.

"Oh that's right." I admit. I decide to go to a nearby building to drop off the kid. We land safely on the building but I can feel that my limit is seriously close. I have to find out how to make him leave quickly.

I say to him, "Go downstairs through that door over there and the people there will let you out." I try to walk away but he doesn't leave.

Instead of leaving, he says to me, "All Might, can I ask you a question?"

Izuku's P.O.V

I am extremely nervous but I still manage to get out "All Might, can I ask you a question?" I can see a tiny bit of smoke coming out of All Might but I ignore it. I decide to ask All Might the question I've always been wanting to ask him.

"All Might, can someone like me who has a quirk that basically does nothing be a hero? Do I have any chance of being a hero as great as you?" I ask while looking at the ground, wanting to know the answer badly. But as I look up I see a skinny man instead of All Might standing there. I scream and the man tries to quiet me.

The man tells me, "I am the real All Might. The All might you see al the time is just my muscle form. It has a limit to it but you can't tell anyone about this." I don't know what to say but All Might continues anyways.

He continues , "And to answer your question earlier, I am very sorry to tell you this, but in this society, you need a good quirk to be a hero. You should try to be a police officer or something like that instead of you want to be a hero."

My hopes are crushed when I process what he says but I still hold on to a little hope for being a hero.

~Time skip~

All Might left me but at least I managed to get down from the building. I guess that I should just face the reality that I can't be a hero. Even All Might himself said so. Even though I already knew it from the start, I worked so hard to try to ignore it.

There's a crowd gathering across the street, must be another hero fighting a villain. But that explosion seems familiar... There is too much people in the way to see who it is but I shouldn't go look. It'll only make me feel worse than I am right now.

I manage to get a peek at the villain. But it looks awfully familiar? WAIT THATS THE VILLAIN THAT ATTACKED ME! HOW DID IT GET AWAY FROM ALL MIGHT?

...I think it was my fault. I was holding on to All Might's leg and I must have accidentally freed the villain from that pocket. According to the crowd, the villain got another junior high student. That must feel awful, they are probably going through the same pain that I went through. There are some heroes nearby but their quirks can't do anything against the villain. I just hope whoever got caught can hang in there until someone with a better quirk can handle it. The villain turns around and I can see that the student he caught is actually Kacchan and he's using his quirk to cause a lot of destruction!

I can only see him now and nobody else and before I realize it, my legs are running forward towards him! I can hear all the heroes behind me telling me to stop but I can't. I get really close to the villain and since I still have my backpack on, I throw it at the villain,s face and I get a lucky shot with a book corner hitting its eye. I try to free Kacchan from the villain but my hands just pass through its sludge body.

Kacchan yells at me, "Why are you here?!"

I respond, "I don't know either! My legs just started moving on their own but you looked like you needed help!"

The villain then angrily yells, "Stop interfering! I almost got him so stop getting in my way!" The villain then tries to attack me but deforme he hits me, Kacchan and I are pulled away by somebody. That same person yells, "Detroit Smash!" and defeats the villain with a punch. Wait does that mean he saved me again? All Might is here now? Wasn't he at his limit?

As it starts to rain, the crowd says "RAIN?" "The air pressure..." "HE CHANGED THE WEATHER WITH ONE PUNCH!" "THATS ALL MIGHT!"

The heroes managed to capture the villain and then went over to me to scold me. They kept on saying that I shouldn't have gone out there but then they went over to Kacchan and praised him for being tough and for having an amazing quirk.

~Time skip~

As I walk home, I realize something. Why didn't my quirk activate? Didn't that count as an extreme situation? Maybe since the villain was planning on still using my body, the quirk would stay alive and didn't think it was an extreme situation. I guess I have to apologize to All Might too. I'll just leave a message in the mail and hope he reads it. At least now that I all of this has happened, I can focus on a more realistic future instea-

"I AM HERE!" All Might comes out of the alley in front of me.

"Why are you here All Might?! Weren't there a bunch of reporters surrounding you?" I ask, extremely confused.

"Escaping the media is nothing to me! After all, I am All M-" he says, before spitting out a bunch of blood and turning into his skinny form. "Kid," he continues, "I came to talk to you about what I said earlier and to make an offer. If I hadn't heard your story, I would've just been standing there when the villain returned. I also wanted to thank you. You were the only one out of all the heroes and people watching who acted even though you were quirkless. Your actions spurred me to act as well! Most of the best heroes showed some greatness even as children. They claim that their bodies moved on their own before they could think!" At this I tear up when I realize I did that last part and I get on my knees. "That's what you did back there right?!", he asks me.

"Yes..." I respond, now crying.

He then says to me, "Well then kid, you can be a hero."

Chapter 2 down! Based off of this, I think that the main thing I'm planning is going to be more likely to happen in chapter 4 instead. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy it!
