Chapter 3

I DONT OWN MY HERO ACADEMIA OR ITS CHARACTERS SO DONT SUE ME OR ANYTHING

Izuku's P.O.V

I am overflowing with emotions right now. The number one hero and my idol, All Might, just told me the words that I have always wanted to hear. He said to me "You can be a hero". Those words mean everything to me.

All Might then says, "I have a proposal to make to you. I find you worthy of my power."

"HUH?!" I exclaim, confused by what he said.

"There are some things that I should tell you about my abilities first.", he says, "Since I've become a hero, everyone has been guessing what my quirk is but nobody actually knows. When I'm asked in interviews, I avoid it by making jokes because the Symbol of Peace has to be a natural born hero like everyone else. The truth is, I wasn't born with this quirk, it was passed on to me. The real name of this quirk is One for All. It is a quirk than has been passed down for generations and each holder of the quirk cultivates it and then passes it down to the next person. So right now, I am offering you this power because I have seen that you acted like a true hero would back then. This is your choice, would you accept my power?"

"O-Of course!" I say, still trying to take in what he said. Inheriting All Might's quirk? This is huge. I can finally fulfillment dreams with this now! I can have a quirk that actually does something!

~Time skip 2 days~

Man, hauling this trash on the beach is difficult. I can't move it a foot, especially with All Might in muscle form sitting on top of it. Wait why am I doing all of this?

"All Might, why do I have to haul around this trash, with you adding 600 pounds on top of it?" I ask.

"Actually, I lost weight, so I only weigh 560 pounds! And to answer your question, you are hauling this trash because you are unfit for my quirk." All Might says, getting off of the trash.

"But you said I was worthy of your quirk 2 days ago!" I exclaim, confused by the sudden change.

"It's not your spirit I'm talking about, it's your body! With all the combined strength of the previous holders, your body won't be able to take it in this state, so your limbs would just come off!" He explains.

"MY LIMBS!" I yell, scared if that would happen to me.

"That is why you are moving trash around. But that's not the only reason. Heroes these days seek fame, but real heroes do things like this without recognition. This beach used to be clean but people took advantage of the water currents leading here and dumped all their trash here. Cleaning this up will restore the beach to what is was before, that is also what it means to be a hero." He says as he crushes the trash I was pulling to reveal the beautiful view of the water. "You want to go to UA right, Midoriya?"

"Yes since you went there, it must be the best school here! But I heard it's hard to get into and also, since the entrance exam is in 10 months, I have to do all of this in a limited amount of time." I respond.

"Correct! And in order to deal with that, I made a plan involving clearing the trash on this section of the beach to build your body. Take a look, there are exercises and a meal plan along with a schedule in this booklet."
He says, giving the booklet to me. "But to be honest, this is going to be really tough."

"Well I have to work harder than everyone else, so I can't really do anything about it being tough." I say.

And this is how I got to work so much it felt like hell for months. Though it was my decision to add a little extra exercises, it was all still painful.

*Time Skip 8 months*

Two months left! I'm almost done with my training plan, which means I'll get All Might's quirk soon!

I wonder what All Might has planned today, he seems like he was up to something. As I get closer to the beach, I can tell he's up to something because he's in muscle form.

"Hey All Might, I'm here! But what are you doing in muscle form?" I say.

He responds, "Well hello there young Midoriya! I am in my muscle form since I realized that you haven't pulled anything with me on top for quite a while now!"

"So is that what I'm going to be doing today?" I ask, dreading his answer.

"Of course it is, now I hope you had an excellent breakfast, because you will need all your energy for this!" He says, giving off a huge smile.

Dang it, it is what I'm going to be doing today. The fact that he made it seem so bad doesn't help me at all! I hope I can make it through this. Those little breaks in between pulling each object are going to be extremely important for resting my muscles. But then again, I have to pull whatever All Might's sitting on, and the only things that he does sit on are the big things. This is gonna hurt so much, I hope all the training I've had so far will help me.

*Time Skip*

"I finally finished today's work!" I yell, laying down on the ground to rest my arms a little.

"Well done young Midoriya, that was quite the workout today wasn't it?" All Might says, getting of the fridge he was sitting on.

"That was more like torture time than a workout." I say.

"Don't think about it that way!" He says, laughing.

"Easy for you to say. You weren't the one moving heavy trash with a 560 pound weight on top." I say.

"Look on the bright side! Your previous training has led to the point where you can last the entire time now!" He says.

"That's true but it's still painful." I say.

"Well you can't avoid that, but go home and get some rest, I don't want to have you late for dinner." He says, pulling me up and turning me in the direction of my house.

"Bye All Might, I'll see you tomorrow!" I yell, running off.

I'm glad that's over. I can finally go home, eat dinner, and lay on the couch and watch some TV. But man, I feel like my arms died. That All Might sure is heavy. I hope that was the last of him sitting on the trash I pull.

I start a muttering storm as I go over everything again, ignoring everything going on outside of my head. I see a cloaked figure run at me from an alley and I snap out of my thoughts but it's too late and I'm tired. The figure pulls me into the alley and ties my hands and feet together.

"I found a good one, this ones body will be the perfect sacrifice." They say.

Oh no. Are they going to kill me for their creepy religion? The guy already has these weird tools I have never seen before laid out. I've got to get out of here quick!
