Chapter 10

Izumi's P.O.V

If this goes on, that 0 pointers going to step on her! It's way too big for me to use my fireballs against it. Everybody else just ran away, so it's just me. I guess my only hope now is using One For All. I haven't used it before but I'll try using it now. I turn into my human form and I let my body move on it's own and when I jump, I get this feeling in my legs and I go extremely high up in a second and I'm right in front of the head of the 0 pointer. I ball my hand into a fist, bring back my hand, and I get the same feeling and when I punch the robot, I yell, "SMASH!" and I see that the robot's head got crushed by the impact and now has a big crater in it. So this is All Might's power! The robot begins to explode around its body but I start falling down.

I look at my legs and the arm I just used and see that they are all broken. Fireballs won't do anything here and I don't want to risk my Fox form getting damaged. I have one arm that's not broken and I think I know what I can do with it. It will need perfect timing but if I use my last arm to punch at the ground, I can break my fall. I'll punch in 5...4...3...2...-AH! I got slapped in the face and now I'm floating above the ground? I hear someone say, "Release" and I fall down, but from a short height. I look up and see the brown haired girl on top of a robot part about to throw up. I look away as she throws up but I think that it was her quirk that made me float.

"I need more points..." I say but I heat Present Mic yell, "TIME IS UP!". What?! Already? I only got 39 points! Will that be enough to pass? I look around me and see the other participants talking about something, probably how I jumped at the 0 pointer. I see and old lady walking around giving the participants candies before stopping in front of me. She says, "So you damaged yourself this much with your own quirk? It seems that your body isn't used to your quirk." and then stretches out her lips and kisses me. I start to feel my legs and my arms move but I'm getting really tired. I guess this is her quirk because I'm definitely falling asleep.

~Time Skip 1 week~

I made it back home from the test and my mom was really happy but I was still stressing out about whether I got enough points to pass. I'm on the couch and the letter from U.A should be arriving today but I don't know if I really want to read it. Ever since the day of the test, All Might hasn't contacted me at all. I don't know what it's supposed to mean, but it just feels bad. I know that I did pretty well on the written portion but I just hope that 39 points was enough for me to pass. Suddenly, my mom comes in the room on the floor with a letter in her hand and says, "It's here! The letter! It's finally arrived!". It's here?! I guess now's the time to see the results.

I go into my room to open it alone and I sit down at my desk. I open the letter but a small circular object falls out along with a paper. It lands on my desk and creates a projection. I see All Might in his muscle form and in formal clothes and he says, "This is a projection!". What?! All Might?! I thought that this letter was from U.A! He continues, "It's been a while, sorry for not contacting you! The reason I am in town is because I am going to teach at U.A. I am here to talk about the exams! Even if you pass the written portion, not getting enough villain points in the practical naturally means you failed." I knew it, I didn't pass. I just didn't get enough points. "But that's not all!" , All Might says, "Let me entertain you! Watch the screen!" and he puts a video on a screen behind him. On it, I see the same brown haired girl from the exam. "She came to see us right after the exam ended! Why? Keep watching!" All Might says.

"Excuse me, um..." the girl says to Present Mic, "That short girl with the animal ears and two tails. You know her? Can you give her some of my points? I heard her say 'I need more points...' at the end of the exam, that means she got a low score right? At least give her the points she lost trying to save me!". All Might says, "You've moved others with your actions more that any quirk could. You see, in this exam, we weren't just watching for villain points! A hero course who rejects people who do the right thing is a failure of a hero course! Rescue points were also counted here! The judges saw the heart of a true hero in you! Izumi Midoriya: 30 points! Meaning, you passed. Come over to U.A, this is now your hero academia!" I passed? Really? This is great! My whole life is now going to be changed forever by this!

~Time Skip 1 day~

After everything, All Might told me to meet him at the beach at 8:00 PM, and that's what we did.

"AAALL MIIIGHT!" I yell as soon as I get to him, but he's in his skinny form.

"Did someone say 'All Might'? Where is he?" I hear a couple nearby say.

"Quick kid, tell 'me that you mistook me for somebody!" All Might whispers to me.

"I MISTOOK HIM FOR SOMEBODY ELSE!" I yell.

"Good. Well, congrats on passing. I didn't tell U.A about our point of contact. You would be the one to worry that you got accepted only because you know me." He says.

"Thank you for that. But I was surprised to hear that you were a teacher at U.A!" I say.

"I told U.A that I was going to be there, but I haven't told anybody else about it. I had U.A notify me if they even found someone there suitable to be my successor."

Right, U.A is a hotspot of capable people with amazing quirks!

"When I used One For All, it wrecked my body. I really can't handle it." I say.

"We can't do anything about that. Right now, you're at the point where you either use nothing or all of it. Over time, you can learn to control the power level and save your body for more uses. The more you build yourself, the more you can control your power. Like this!" All Might says, turning into his muscle form and crushing some soda cans.

"Wait, isn't that... It is! It's All Might! When did he get here?" The couple nearby yells.

"Uh oh. We should go now." All Might says, walking away from the couple.

"Yeah, I agree." I say, following him.

"He's so cool!" The couple yells.
