Izuku's Hidden Quirk

Chapter 5

Izuku's P.O.V

Ugh. I think I passed out. That was another weird dream. I hope the crazy dreams stop soon or I'll have to talk to someone about it. But that second dream did seem pretty real though. I think I'm in the hospital but why am I on the floor and not on the bed?

I get up, my head still dizzy and see a mirror. But there's a little girl there instead of me. Ah I get it. I'm hallucinating. I better get some help. I see a cart with clothes on it but the clothes look like they would match the little girl I saw and not me. There's a note there saying "Come out when you're ready." Of course I would do that, why would they need to put a note there. I look back at the mirror to check up on myself but instead I still see the same little girl from before. I move and she copies me exactly. Hmmmm, reminds me of that second dream. Wait a minute, was that not actually a dream? Oh no...

IT WASNT A DREAM!!!! This is really bad, how am I supposed to get used to this?! What do I do??? I guess I should see what I have to deal with.

I look in the mirror to check my new self out. I now have long blonde hair, red eyes, smooth white skin, animal ears, and a tail. My arms and legs are smaller and thinner than what I would have liked. There's a tape measure next to the mirror so I decide to see if my height changed at all. I stretch it out but when I look at the number, expecting to be 5'7" but instead I'm 3'6". I'm a female, but luckily I don't have any breasts, that would have been embarrassing. I speak random words and find out my voice is lighter. But the main issue is that I look like a little kid instead of a 16 year old! What is Kacchan going to think if he sees me like this? But he won't know it's me unless I tell him. I'll just have to hide it from his as long as I can. This going to be really annoying and hard to do.

I put on the clothes and I open the door and look around. There are people there already waiting for me and they motion for me to follow them. I follow them down the hallway and into an office. There is a table with a bunch out chairs around it. They all sit down and so do I, but I can barely see over the table. It looks like this is an interview but with a lot more people.

One of them starts, "So, young girl, what is your name? We haven't found anyone that looks like you in our files."

"My name is Izuku Midoriya, but I don't know why I look like this either." I say, remembering that I look completely different.

One person starts typing on a laptop and then says, "Izuku Midoriya, the boy who went missing the same day you got here. It may be true, but we need more evidence to confirm your identity."

Right, of course they won't believe me right away if I say that.

"My mother is Inko Midoriya and my father is Hizashi Midoriya. I'm 16 and my mom knows that I want to become the number one hero. I also went to Aldera Junior High." I say, hoping that it will be enough.

"It's all true. We'll notify the mother and tell her to come." a person that looks like the detective says.

"What do you remember from when you were in that alley?" the first guy asked.

"I remember that there was this crazy guy going to kill me for the devil but a column of fire decimated him and I passed out from there." I respond.

They write down what I said and then continue asking, "Do you know what caused that column of fire that saved you?".

"No, I wish I knew what caused it too." I respond.

"Do you by any chance have a quirk?" the same guy asks me.

"Yes I do, but I was told it was a hidden quirk so I was basically quirkless." I say.

All the people in the room whisper to each other and then one of them says to me, "We have enough evidence to believe that your quirk made that column of fire since the hero that found you didn't see anybody nearby at the time it happened. Since your physical change was at the same time of that event, we also think that your quirk changed your body too. Would you like us to call a quirk doctor and see what your quirk is?"

"Yes, I would like for a quirk doctor to come!" I say, shocked that I finally have a quirk that I can use.

I need to tell this to All Might! Wait, how will I get to All Might? He probably stopped going to the beach after I disappeared. I guess I'll go to the beach to finish cleaning it so when he hears about it, he'll know that it was me. But my arms and legs are tiny, how am I supposed to do it in 1 month?!

"Our quirk doctor is unfortunately busy, you'll have to do it tomorrow." The guy on the laptop says, after typing quickly.

"That's alright, I can wait one day." I say, but inside I'm really disappointed that I can't do it today. But I guess I have things to do already, like explaining all of this to my mom.

"You can go to the lobby for your mom to pick you up and hopefully, you can get with the quirk doctor tomorrow! There are signs that will guide you where to go." One person says.

I get up and go to the door but hit my head on the door handle accidentally. Ouch, I really need to get used to doors.

As I wait in the lobby, I find a small mirror in my pocket, so I use it to look at myself more. My ears and my tail are the same color as my hair and the tips of both are white. At least I don't have an animal nose or any paws. I'll have to talk to my mom about getting new clothes and then changing them so I can wear them with my tail. Now that's gonna be embarrassing. I wish I could test my quirk out here but since it's involved with fire, I can't risk it. I guess I'll just have to wait. Tomorrow is gonna be a big day.

There's Chapter 5! Funny story, I got 3 hours of sleep today :) But I'm not tired at all. I hope nothing bad comes out of it. My parents also took my phone away for a while, so I had to write this chapter on my freaking TV. It was in the middle of the night too. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the chapter!
