Izumi's P.O.V

"Sports Festival?! But there was just a villain attack, isn't this pushing our luck?" Someone says.

"As U.A, it's necessary for us to hold this event. Having the sports festival will show that U.A is capable of properly dealing with these types of situations. Before quirks, the Olympics used to be the greatest event where people all over the world knew about it. But now, the Olympics isn't what it used to be. And for the people of Japan, our Sports Festival has taken it's place." Mr. Aizawa says.

"All the Pro Heroes from around the country will be there watching." Yaoyoruzu says.

"Once we graduate, they'll hire us as sidekicks!" Kaminari says.

"And most of them stay sidekicks forever. I bet you will end up like that." The girl next to him says.

"Getting picked up by a popular hero would boost your popularity. The students from all courses will be there and they will be split up by grade, so this is the only chance you will get this year. " Mr. Aizawa says.

"When will the sports festival be?" Kirishima asks.

"It will begin in 2 weeks. Use those 2 weeks to prepare for it." Mr. Aizawa says. Prepare... now that I think of it, I haven't tested what I can do now that I have an extra tail.

~Lunch with All Might in the Break Room~

"You remember how I fought the Nomu back at USJ? Well back then I was pushing my limits really hard and now I can only maintain my muscle form for 50 minutes." All Might says.

"What?! But that's too short!" I say.

"I'll make a plan to deal with that, but I wanted to talk to you about the sports festival. How are you feeling about it." All Might says.

"Well, I'm not too worried about my quirk but I still can't control One for All. But there was that time when I punched the villain and my arm didn't break." I say.

"Really? What did you feel was different about that punch?" All Might says.

"I think it was that it was the first time that I used it on someone." I say.

"So your body held you back without you knowing it. Try to remember the feeling of that punch the next time you use One for All. If you'd like, I could help you with that." All Might says.

"I'll call you sometime for help." I say.

"Just make sure that you show everyone there what you can do." All Might says.

"Got it." I say.

~At the beach after school~

This should be great for seeing what I can do now with 3 tails. Let's see, Fireball! I try making a fireball and sending it into the ocean but instead it makes a wave of fire instead. It's not very big though, so its only use would be if I happen to get into close combat. I wonder what upgrade my fox form got, maybe I can shoot fire out of my mouth? I turn into a fox to try to do that but as soon as I open my eyes, I start hearing way more things than before and I can smell much more too. I got enhanced senses? This would be great for going in unknown places, since I can hear and smell things ahead. I need to know what my other senses are like now. For vision, I don't notice any difference so it might be night vision since its still bright outside. For touch, I can feel the sand differently. It almost feels like I can feel every single grain of sand. For taste, I licked the water but immediately regretted doing so because of how salty the water was.
