Eren's POV
"But... wasn't that a bit frightening, Eren?" Armin asked as he clung onto his backpack to keep his hands from shaking anymore. "Mikasa was considered as a suspect in that murder... I think I would be afraid of anyone who was a suspect..."
I shook my head, cannot believe that he was believing this. "Armin, are you being serious right now? The police considered me as a suspect, you know. So technically, I'm in the same category as her. She wouldn't have done such a thing like this, Armin. I wouldn't."
"I-I was just saying..."
"Armin, please." I say with a heavy sigh. "She's innocent."
Why were everyone so keen on making Mikasa the prime suspect? She didn't do anything bad- she was being labeled as something bad. I was known to have a bad temper from time to time- and I was labeled to be someone to not mess with- despite me of having no record of bad behavior.
"Ah!" I jumped, startled as my heart skipped a beat. A small, petite girl ran towards my feet, looking directly at the ground. "Lift your feet, please!"
I did so; to my surprise, there was a broken necklace there. "O-Oh... I'm sorry..." I say, seeing her pick up the broken golden chain. In her hands laid this tiny gem on it. "Did the gem break?" I asked, leaning closer.
The blonde girl shook her head, smiling gently. "No, the gem didn't break. Thankfully..." She says looking up and I was met with these sapphire blue eyes. "Oh- you're Eren."
"I don't think I ever met you- what's your name?"
"Ah... it's just... um..." The girl looked down at her necklace until this other girl came up behind her.
"Christa- what are you doing? I thought you were only gonna take a few minutes?" This taller girl sighed, putting her hands on the blonde girl's shoulders. "Huh? What's going on here? Something wrong with these two?"
The girl, I presumed Christa, shook her head. "No, there's nothing wrong. I found the necklace that you had given me. The chain just broke."
The taller girl sighed, scratching the back of her head. "Jeez... why do chain necklaces break so much? The need to be sturdier... tsk... oh well, just hold onto it for now. I'll go and find some chains at some later date."
I spoke a bit, taking a small step forward. "My mom should have some spare necklace chains- I can go and ask her if you want."
"Who's this guy?" The taller girl asked, stepping towards me. "Huh? Christa, you know him personally or something? Who is he?"
"Ymir!" Christa seemed to cry out loud, "Leave him be! He's just a classmate, you know." Christa then took Ymir's hand and started to walk off. "If you want to ask your mom about the necklace chain, go ahead. I don't want to force you or anything, okay, Eren? See you in class."
They then both left for class, and I was able to take a deep breath. "Eren, you okay?"
I turned to Armin, nodding my head. "Yeah... girls are scary sometimes... you know?" I chuckled a bit, walking forward. "Anyways, we got a few minutes for class starts. Wanna hang out in the cafeteria?"
"Naw, I gotta drop some books off in the library. Maybe even check some out as well."
"Oh- for the project?"
"Basically."
I chuckled, "Alright then. Let's go to the library then."

Mikasa's POV
"Mikasa, please..." I turned to see Aunt Hanji looking at me with worry in her eyes. "What did I say? What did we all say?"
I take a deep breath, nodding my head. "I'm sorry, Auntie. I won't... do that."
"Come here..." I do so, having her hold me tightly in her arms. "Just take a deep breath... and calm down... you don't need to do this... you need to take some control of this... please... no more kills."
"I won't."
