Mikasa's POV

Nothing was off on this particular day. Except the fact that the teachers were stumbling and cautiously looking at the doors. As if they were expecting something... something they weren't ready or prepared for. It wasn't much of a fearful feeling- but it was still fear that glinted in their eyes. Knowing me... I know what those eyes of fear looked like.

It was a little past lunch time- and that's when two people walked into the classroom. The whole class turned their heads with curiosity of who just walked in. A few mumbles here and there- but I could tell they were nothing but bad. How much they stared off at everyone- examining us... no doubt they were here for me. Which so much chaos I've created... they were looking for me.

"May I help you?" Mrs. Gold asked the two people, straining to smile gently to them. Of course- a sense of uneasiness ran through her. I can't feel that- but I know how well people have demonstrated it. I just knew how it worked- yet I could never truly feel that feeling.

The male spoke out- "Yes. I would like to have a little chat with your students. If that's completely alright- we would just take a fraction of your time here. That's all. We do not intend to take up the whole class period. After all- education is important."

Mrs. Gold stepped to the side, allowing these two people to speak. The male who had spoken out stood in the center as the woman stood next to him. Her sharp eyes striking people down with a furious glare. Stern. Everyone was looked at- but when she looked at me, it was nothing but emptiness.

"I'm Agent Karl Lopaz- and this is my partner, Agent Tia Ritchard." He said with a soft smile. "We're here just to chat."

That blonde kid that Eren hangs out with quickly shot through the air. It wasn't a surprise, but everyone seemed to be taken aback by his action. Maybe it was surprising because a boy like him are almost always timid. Shy and rather not talk up. But he was attempting to ask a question to someone with higher power.

"Yes- you. What's your name?"

"A-Armin A-Arlert."

Agent Lopaz chuckled softly, smiling towards him. "Something's wrong, Arlert? Something you want to ask?"

"A-Agents like you don't just appear... is it true... you're all investigating the murders here...?"

The room fell silent as that question was answered. The slightest movement would cause an echo everyone would hear. His mouth was agape as he never thought a high school student would even guess about that. But Armin did. On the other hand, Agent Ritchard smiled softly towards him. A good interest in him? Perhaps. I would never get that look of approval. The only approval I need is Eren's.

"M-Ma'am and-"

Agent Lopaz rose his hand, and Armin quickly shut his mouth. A smile began to curl at his face when the agent spoke once more. "I didn't want to make it too obvious- but I guess it's understandable. With all the murders here... and our sudden appearance- it's not that hard to piece those shards together, huh? To answer your question, Arlert, yes, we are investigating here."

"Why keep the schools open then?" Armin slowly fell into a rant as he continued onward. "I-If the killer will continue killing at the school... why not shut the school down-"

"That answer is classified." Agent Ritchard finally spoke with a sense of authority in it. "We would like to talk to you after this class is over. If you don't mind, that is. You're not in trouble- we just want to talk to you. Tomorrow, each and every one of you will be interviewed."

"Then-"

"If Mrs. Gold won't hesitate," the female agent gazed towards the teacher, "I would like to keep you after class."

Armin opened his mouth to protest, but he kept his ground and stayed silent. I glanced towards Eren, seeing him surprised by Armin's actions. But he instantly turned back towards me- a smile grew on my face. I loved it... loved it when he saw me. There were so many things I wanted him to do for me... I can't rant on too much about it.

"Very well. We will stay here for the remainder of class."

Our eyes met once more as Agent Ritchard looked back at me. Those stern eyes steadily on mine. How I could never shake it off. Was this why Uncle Levi told me to never kill... or why Aunt Hanji wanted me to stop? Was it because we called in these people to break all of us apart. I understand now. If they come over and break our little bonds together... the bloodshed...

I would be waiting for that day if they dare take Eren from me. That being said, it would be the same for Uncle Levi. Blood will drip from our hands as we waited for the storm to wash over. Until then... I will be waiting to draw my blade on any danger. I've done it before... and I won't ever hesitate on doing it once more.
