Steve's POV

The battle had only just started and we were already a man down. Clint (the complete idiot he is) disobeyed direct orders and shot an arrow at the front door of the Hydra base we (as in me, Tony, Bucky, Clint, Pietro and Sam) are trying to infiltrate to get the locations for other bases. That resulted in Clint getting electrocuted and having to be sped back to the quinjet we arrived in.

2 Hour Time Skip

Lost in my thoughts, I come to a standstill as the battle ends. My thoughts are of course about Tony. One thing I forgot to mention, I secretly have a small crush on the genius. I thought it would go away after a while but I just can't stop it. Speaking of.... he comes up to me and lands, still in his suit, a few feet away.

Tony's POV

After the battle, everyone returns to the quinjet. Everyone except Steve. I notice he's standing so still, you would think he's a stature. I fly over to him and land a few feet away, facing him. "Jarvis, eject," I'm spit out of my suit and land in front of Steve. I lift my left hand and wave it in front of his face. Nope, no response. Let's try something else.

"Steve?" I ask, tilting my head. Nothing. "Cap,...Captain,...Capsicle," Still nothing. What is he thinking about. "ROGERS !" I shout. Still nothing. I'm running out of ideas. What the hell is happening in Steve's head.

Unfortunately for him, I know about Steve's crush on me. Smirking, I suddenly get a terrible, yet brilliant, idea. "STARK! PAY ATTENTION!!" I scream at him. He jolts out of his day dream. "Yes?" He questions without hesitation.

I suddenly burst out laughing. I can't help it. I lean over and put my hands on my knees to keep myself from falling over. I look up after a while and see Steve with a look of pure confusion. I calm down after a while, only giggling occasionally.

"What happened?" He questions. I giggle again. "You were day dreaming about something and calling your name didn't work so I tried something else," I reply. "What did you say?" He asks quickly. "Are you sure you want to know?" I ask teasingly, with a smirk on my face. He hesitated before nodding slowly.

"Stark," I say, staring into his piecing blue eyes. He blushes darkly and looks down at his feet, suddenly interested in his boots. "Sorry, I didn't mean... just... sorry," he mumbles quietly.

I reach out to him with my left hand again and lift his chin, stepping closer to him. He lets his chin be lifted and looks into my eyes. I lean forward ever so slightly, keeping my eyes locked with his, leaning up slightly. I stop just before our lips meet and close my eyes, him doing the same. I lurch forward and our lips meet. He grabs onto my waist and pulls me closer. My hands wrap around the back of his neck, pulling me even closer to him. I kiss him with as much passion at I can muster. He bites my bottom lip and his tongue slips into my mouth as I part my lips.

"STEVE, TONY. WHERE ARE YOU?!" Steve and I leap apart at the sound of our names being called by Bucky from the quinjet. I turn and step into my suit, letting it wrap around me and turning around when I'm fully enclosed in the technology to face Steve, who still has a startled look on his face. I giggle again and reach forward, taking his hand and starting towards the jet. He follows behind me, his face the same red as my suit.

"Come on, lets go home," I say, smiling, tugging on his arm. He nods, stumbling after me, still blushing. We get to the quinjet and enter, still holding hands. Everyone stares at our joined hands, smiling at the sight of us finally together. "Let's go home," Tony repeats to Clint, who is sitting in the pilot seat. "Ok. Avengers tower, here we come!" He cheers loudly, starting the engine and taking off.

See I kept my promise, no children. I'll try to make another one that's like it. I had different idea for this one but I changed it at the last minute.

Have a good day/night.
