CHAPTER 4

Jin and Yoongi lives in their shared apartment in the nearby street to the cafe. Yoongi has a music studio in their apartment, while jin busies himself in trying different recipes for their cafe and he even has a YouTube channel which holds a segment called 'eat jin' in which he introduces his newly developed recipes.

Knock knock!

"Hyung... I am working, I will try your recipe later"

Yoongi yelled from his studio. HE started working in his studio right from the moment he got in his apartment after a long day of tiring work in the cafe. Jin and jungkook has always asked him to be a full time music composer, but he refused it saying he loves to work in the cafe. He really loves to be with his family.

Yoongi's parents are working abroad with their business and he had his childhood spent with jin's family. He is more attached to them than his own parents. Jin's parents owns a Korean restaurant and both jin and Yoongi used to help them with the chores.

It's not that Yoongi's parents didn't love him that they left him with jin's family. Yoongi's father got an opportunity to start his dream business abroad along with a friend and at that time they couldn't afford Yoongi's education in a foreign country. So Yoongi himself suggested that he will stay with jins family and from then on jin, Yoongi and jungkook are like inseparable brothers.

Jin was like a mother figure for both of them, always taking care of his two younger brothers. Both jin and Yoongi treated jungkook as their baby brother, that Yoongi can even go from an angel to beast mode when someone bothers his brothers. And now there is an addition to his list and that's his cute little niece Diya.

"Yoongi-ah, can I have a few minutes?" jin sounded very nervous in his tone and Yoongi got his hint that Jin might have something important to talk.

"come in hyung" Yoongi put his headphone aside and turned to face a very worried jin. Yoongi is curious on why his hyung is acting strange. "what is it hyung? Why do you look so worried?"

"um... Yoongi-ah... I have something to tell you... B-But"

"But?"

"Um... Promise me that you won't get mad and do something impulsive" Jin was now looking straight into yoongis oblivious eyes.

"what the hell is going on hyung?  Why are you acting strange?"

"Um... I met Hosoek today... when I went to pick up Diya from her daycare".

"So?" Yoongi started to worry, if anything went wrong with Diya in her daycare.

"He told me that, t-that h-he saw y-yugeom and Lisa together last week". Jin gathered all his remaining courage to complete the sentence.

For a minute, there was complete silence scattered in the room. No one tried to speak, and when jin lifted his face to look at Yoongi, he saw a very red, angered and terrific face looking straight to the door. Jin started panicking that Yoongi was not not speaking anything in response. Suddenly he saw a furious Yoongi getting up from his chair and picking up his jacket to wear.

"W-where are y-you going?" Jin grabbed yoongis wrist to stop him from doing anything stupid. To his surprise, yoongis face softened and took jins hand in his.

"we are going to check on jungkook and Diya, hyung. We need to protect them this time no matter what." yoongis face was full of concern and determination. "I failed once. Not again".

"It wasn't your fault Yoongi-ah... You didn't even know" Jin spoke by caressing yoongis hand with his thumb.

"exactly hyung. I didn't even know. But now I know, so I am gonna protect my brother and niece at all costs" Yoongi said to jin with a very determined eyes holding back tears at the corners.
